Atrocious drainage
The course was a bog on a dry, mild day with lagoons of mud making half the holes unplayable. We gave up after 14 holes, and we literally could not walk down some of the fairways without sinking ankle-deep in mud.
Should have closed, way too wet
The condition was extremely wet, part of the fairway was covered with water. It was difficult to walk to say the least, sometimes its impossible.
Lost few balls in the middle of the fairway due to the ball disappearing in the mud and water paddle.
Dangerous Course
I will start with the postive. The starter is a good guy. The rest is average or poor. The course is short and if you can hit a 5 iron 200 yards you do not need to bring a driver. The fairways all run very close to each other. Balls come from all directions. I have never heard more fores yelled at any other course ever. The greens are all flat and boring. The course is very flat. It is a course that one time around is enough. I also can't make any suggestions on how to improve it because the land has nothing to offer.
well looked after
we had good game and excellent weather
Greenacres golf course

Great city course
Play here often--we love it 18 holes not to hard - flat - a few water hazards--easy to get on & very central location--good people to deal with -- would recommend it to anyone if they want to have fun & not beat yourself up on a very hard course--they have a nice restaurant & pub so what more could you want..
Fun course for all level of players
Course on that day was excellent. Very nice fairway with quite a good green speed. Enjoyed the round very much.
Nice walls and easy to play
I enjoyed playing here. The wide open fairways and easy walking conditions makes fun.
good pace for playing when the course marshal working around
Good course for anyone , book with golf now at the last minute and just walk in . There"s a 3 new gamers playing in front of me and they are really slow , the course marshal r watching them and make them let me and the late starter pass ! good management work !
Good value, if you get a hot deal.
Pros:
Good Value
Friendly Staff
Course can be tricky without being 7000 yards.
Cons:
No driving range
slowish greens
no marshall for pace of play.
No water on course.
Got a good deal same day booking on GolfNow
Great value for GreenAcres, same day booking using GolfNow. It was the first time I used GolfNow, there was no problems, the course played well, and it felt so good to get such a great deal. the course is easy to find in Richmond, just a short distance after getting off the knight st bridge.
Great Value
Very impressed with the course and value!
Course in very poor condition
Course was in very poor condition. Standing water and large areas of mud in fairways. No distinction between rough and fairway; all of the gradx was quite long and thick. Could not find balls hit in the middle of the fairway.
Can't recommend until course dries out
The course was extremely wet and muddy in several places; washrooms were closed except for a temporary facility on 10. I played on a hot deal, which compensated for the troubles. If you can't managed the mud and lack of washrooms, wait until later in the spring to play here, when course will be drier and facilities will be opened.
Extremely Disappointing
To be honest one of my worst experiences in the last 10 years. Course was a complete bog. Holes 11 through 14 were virtually unplayable with every fairway shot plugging. Obviously have hardly mowed any of the fairways this year. To top it off finished at 3:30 and the restaurant and bar were closed !!! Course should not be open for play until properly maintained.
Good Average Course
This course offers a great layout for people that don't hit it long. The winter months are wet and play is as to be expected in soggy, muddy conditions. In firmer drier conditions this course is a good value for the money.
Should only play in summer
We've played this course numerous times as it is close to home, and good deals can be found on GolfNow. This is a very basic flat course that is not too challenging, but should not even be open in winter or early spring. The problem is that this course has very poor drainage. We've played in April when the course is like quicksand, and I won't ever do that again. This time we played on a cold (4 degrees) winter day. I thought it would be okay as it was bright and sunny, and we had not had much rain for the last couple of weeks. But the course was still mostly frozen solid, with some areas of soft surface that had all turned to mud. This course has absolutely horrible conditioning and should not even be open this time of year. And it's not just due to the weather, as our normal course, just a mile down the street, is in infinitely better condition, even at this time of year.
About the course
The green is in excellent condition, but the courses are very wet and muddy, there are a lot of leaves on the courses and it is difficult to identify the ball.
Dry weather only
Good course if you live close by, but when it starts to get wet you will plug the ball a lot. In the high season it is priced a little high in my opinion. That is why I use the golf now for a better price. Thanks golf now.
