Dry weather only
Good course if you live close by, but when it starts to get wet you will plug the ball a lot. In the high season it is priced a little high in my opinion. That is why I use the golf now for a better price. Thanks golf now.
A Great golf course
Very convenient for the Richmond golfer ,need to have good management because fairways little bit narrow. If have early bird good deal is fantastic .
good location
This course is convenient for Richmond residents
Great value on special deals
Wish a couple more tee times
price was excellent,
course wasn't too bad considering we were dry for so long
Good value
Tees and greens in great shape, but fairways were very hard and dry, more so than a lot of courses in my area, but great golfnow price so I can live with subpar conditions.
This course is good for beginners and novice players
This course offers beginner golfers an easy layout because of its flat terrain and less challenging greens. Scoring in the mid 90's is achievable.
Hole in ONE!
Well besides the excitement of my first hole in one, in a tourney that offered the car at another par 3!!!
I ended up getting nothing for the effort but it was a cool moment.
The course is average as you can see by the other reviews. If your in the mood for trying something other than your home course, it's always nice to see different layouts.
May or may not return, not high on my list.
Edmond
Not much views to enjoy, but liked the overall experience. Would like to play again if I could get another good deal.
Cheap but poor condition
Poor maintenance. Ground is very dry and hard. green is slow, lots of leave on the ground. But it is very cheap
Single booking not taken
This is a pleasant, flat, parkland type golf course. Tree lined on every hole but few hazards otherwise. Slow greens. Similar to Donald Ross courses of the 1930's. NOTE: I was unable to book as a single player via GolfNow even though many "single" tee time bookings initially showed as being available. Every time I picked any of them, the system returned a message that it was unavailable. I tried different days & times, same result. Apparently one cannot book this course as a single player even when GolfNow tee times show availability for "1 player".
Very beautiful golf course and very affordable
Very beautiful golf course and very affordable.i recommend it to my other golf buddies ,I can join the join tournament here ,it's Avery amazing golf course ,I think this is one of the best golf course in the whole canada
Nice course
Not fancy, has no driving range but driving cages available. There is a driving range very close by but it t would require one to make two separate stops. Good putting and chipping practice area. Course is well maintained. Fairways are tree lined and requires good course management. It is likely you will use most of the clubs in your bag. Some par 3 are very long (196 yds from the whites). Good GPS and cell reception so you can use golf caddie app to better manage your game. On line bookings is the way to go....best rates. Would recommend this course as a pleasant course with few challenges other than accurate shots.
GolfNow at Greenacres
Good price! Unfortunately, I had an even better price the day before, but booked the wrong day. Good thing they still had space and I was able to book again on GolfNow right at the clubhouse. GolfNow fees worked out to about $2.50 per player when booking online for this course. Fair enough, since they have to make something as well. Played as a threesome. There were pairs ahead and behind us, so the pace of play was fine. Only waited for 3 holes. I like how they've pruned the bottom branches of trees, to make it easier to find your ball. Less frustrating and helps with pace of play. It was a clear sunny day in the high teens, so the course itself was in good condition, but the greens were really slow. We could tell right away at the practice greens before the round. I won't play this course in the winter or after heavy rain. The drainage is poor. There are 3 or 4 holes where it gets pretty noisy from the highway traffic, but most of the course is pretty quiet. It doesn't have that wow factor, but if you arrive without any expectations and enjoy the day, it'll be a good round.
Great Local Play
We were early and the tee time in front was open so the pro moved us up and later we joined the couple behind for an enjoyable round. The greens are nicely kept, the fairways were very good with side trees trimmed up for easy ball finding. The water can catch you but the second time out should help on that and we have booked again. It is very convenient and although traffic noise from 91 is noticeable it is well tree screened.
Great Value Convenient Location
Play this course twice a week May to October. The course is in good shape. Par 71 short course. What makes the course a challenge is very small greens and some tighter fairways with in course OB.Does have some longer Par 4's.
Sand traps are a challenge. Need to invest in some new sand in the bunkers.
Drainage is poor so not playable during the rainy season.
Good overall challenge
Nice firm fairways and clean and crisp greens. A variety of different holes that require many different shot types. A good test for all golfers either beginner or advanced.
Great Price
Course was in decent shape, greens had been recently punched, fairways were in good condition. Overall, great day to play.
Great little course
Easy to walk with lot's of mature trees that come into play if you have a tendancy to slice.
Egg crate greens
Was not told that the greens had been punched.
Not happy.
Will play this course again when its in better shape.
Booking online puts you in this jeopardy.
Not happy.
