Porta potties could be freshened up a little more often
Great layout and not much to complain about 😎😃
Always a pleasure to play this track. Unfortunately the tee boxes are getting a little worse for wear. Other than that always a pleasure to play here . Challenged all levels of golf and greens are usually great shape.
Great Course! Fun and a bit challenging
I went with 2 buddies on an early Monday morning. The course was in great condition, the greens were difficult but the overall type of course, this was a fun one to play. Not extreme difficulty cause of the shorter Par 4s. The pace of play was the best aspect. We never had to wait for someone to finish up a hole and vice versa. I would reccomend this course to a beginner/intermediate golfer.
Always a great track
Played in Friday and was told about tournament going on and pace might be slower then usual. Appreciated the communication and pace was 4.5 hrs so it wasn’t horrible. Great track 😎
Great Track
Solid course, lots to offer in terms of playability. Some tough narrow fairways then you got huge forgiving holes. It allows all types of players to be challenged.
Solid track
This course is a little gem outside of Winnipeg and worth the drive. Nice staff, helpful and friendly. Carts were clean and electric lots of room for all our crap up front and behind the seat. Some Tee boxes are a little rough but most are fantastic, fairways are clean, manicured and maintained. The greens are really soft from all the rain but roll true and quick despite. This course is forgiving, maybe coz I left my driver at home (on purpose btw) and just kept it in the fairways. How is it? I’ll be playing this again next week 😉
Great day Golfing
The course was in great shape and I was pleasantly surprised by the layout. We had a quick round under 4 hours and we took our time. The pace was great and I would have to say that it very enjoyable to play this course and maintain your rhythm by not feeling rushed or having to wait for a group ahead of you. I will definitely recommend and return to this course.
Beat kept secret in Manitoba.
Maplewood is little recognized by most golfers, and still known by its old name ‘Rat River’. Not only is the new club house impressive, the course was in great shape for the start of the season and a great walkable layout. The river meanders through the course, coming into play on several holes. Definately a course worthy of your ‘bucket list’, that is close by Winnipeg.
Great course for first round of the season.
Friendly staff, good two some we were paired up with, and nice course to open our 2026 season. We will be back to enjoy this gem of a course in rural Manitoba!
