the course was pretty but the tee boxes were brutal! also some fairways were in pretty bad shape!

There were many trees which made it aesthetically pleasing but the playability was just OK….

we got a good rate but would not go back at full price

A lot to be desired in regards to course conditions but cheap round on golfnow. Slow play and many people on the course with no etiquette.

Tee box are in bad condition, as well there are a lot weed and cut fairway

I played this course once before late in the season last year. The difference in course condition was a pleasant surprise. The pace of play was excellent, the staff were friendly and I improved my score slightly. For me it was certainly worth the drive.

At this time of the year (early spring) I was surprised the greens were in good condition. Tough 2 par 3s on front nine which happens to slow down the groups as well. It maybe a short course but still challenging. The course does not handle rain very well so expect muddy areas along the paths. I'm sure the fairway conditions will get better in the summer. I find the back nine to be more challenging.

This is a "Just OK" course - good for beginners or intermediate players. Greens are small but in very good condition for early in the season. There was lots of standing water on most of the holes, there was some rain in the prior 2 days but the course clearly has some drainage problems. There are a few goofy holes like #10 for example.

Good little course for the money

What an improvement in this course--I played here a couple years ago and must say the overall experience was much better this time. The course was better taken care of in general and overall appearance was great. I will be back next summer.

golf course is very good i like it.
but course is little difficulty

I got a steal of a deal via golfnow. Its Fall time, and all things considered I had a great round of golf. I will be visiting Acton again.

Short course that I would say would be good for beginners but the back nine is such a weird tight design I'm not so sure. Greens where in good condition.

Good conditions, rough tee boxes though. Forces you to you use a lot of different clubs and a lot of different shots. Driver comes out once and a while if your a long hitter. Pace of play was the best part, full course and still only 3.5 hr round

Not great. Most tees were in poor condition. Had to wait on every hole. Starter was and other staff were friendly.

pack extra sleeve of balls...roughs very badly maintained...very easy to lose tons of balls

Very far from a 3 star course....max a 1 star course...if possible, look for another course in the area.

Others will really rush you...speed of play not at all good. Other patrons are not friendly either.

I really enjoyed this course. I actually had my best game. The course was well maintained and we didn't have to pay a fortune to play. We didn't feel rushed because it wasn't super busy. We will definitely be back!

Fairways were tight on some holes with hidden hazards so be careful. Spongey in some places, drainage needs improving. Bring extra balls.

Had a good round here so all smiles. Small round greens every one almost the same. Watch the streams that cross the fairways some are wider than they look from the T box.

I like this course, when not busy it can be played in 3 hours. There are a number of holes that require accurate shots (or goodbye ball), suggest taking along a few "water" balls (and this applies on several holes) - will play Acton again soon

Not bad for the money. Shorter course with some good challenges. Easy to play in 4 hours or less. Very friendly staff.
