A good mix of tough and easy holes . Take lots of balls as bushes and water will swallow them up , although if time permits , ball searching will be rewarded .

Don't let's the short yardage fool you. This is a trick track. Snail postage stamp greens are reachable for the long hitters. The greens are medium speed and in good condition.

We hadn't played here in 20 years, and thought we'd give it another shot.

This isn't too tough a course, but it's in rough shape. Tee areas are chewed up in the shade where grass won't grow again.. Greens, though small, were in immaculate shape, and fastest we've played on this year. When we reached the 12th hole there was 6 carts on the hole scattered along its length, with another 4 on the tee. We had waited on every hole a minimum of 5 minutes. We had enough. Never again.

Good course. Good value. Good service. Will definitely play this course again and recommend it to my friends.

It was a perfect day for golf!. Some holes are narrow then open up. Greens were very fast! Will go back for sure!

Extreme slow pace..Pro shop disorganized..no Marshall around ..2 twosome playing between 2 foursome.. part of course flooded...took over 2 and half hour for first 9 which is extremely slow for this course

My partner only played 9 holes said it was one of the worst golf courses he's ever played. there was a lot of swamp & mushy spots.Lost many balls in the swamp areas.Price was decent but i would rather pay more & not waste my money

I normally like this course, but conditions and the state of the course were not up to par. I know we've had a wet spring but it hadn't rained in a couple of days and the course was saturated. Drainage must be very poor. Also, piles of limbs from spring cleanup were visible in more than one place.

At least the staff inside were really good.

I just started playing golf this year and as a beginner, this is a good course to enjoy the game of golf.

For a par 68, with course rating of 62, players should be well aware that they are not setting foot onto Pine Valley or even Osprey Valley for that matter. With that said, accepting the course for what it is, the course conditions and overall friendliness of the staff makes Acton a wonderful experience. Fantistic for the beginner and fun for the intermediate golfer.

A hidden gem. However finding this course was a real challenge even using gps and calling the booking company. When i explained to the staff why i was 30 minutes late because of being unable to find the course, I was told they got the same complaint from travellers very frequently. However i really enjoyed the course and would play it again.

Acton GC is a great course to practice your iron game, there is only 2 par 5's and may of the Par 4's are not very long either, thus the driver does not really get played often. All things considered with the lack of rainfall this year the course is in decent repair with all the greens in great shape, and fairways quite playable. I found the key to this course is good distance judgement otherwise you'll find yourself hitting long, having said that this is certainly not a course for a long hitter. It is however a great round for a beginner as most of the holes are straight with forgiving fairways, along with easy greens. Green fees are fair, and amenities are average.

Fiirst let me say that all of the staff at this course are exceptional, friendly and helpful.

A round of golf here dosen't take that long and on a moderate day would be very nice. Like every other course, lack of water has had an effect on tee blocks and fairways.

Since this was my first time playing there, someone noted that at some point the course could eat you up and that it did on the back nine although it was still lots of fun and I will play it again when I have the time.

I would recommend this course for anyone who hits a straight ball
