course is poorly designed and in poor condition there is no information on the layout of the course so first time is a guess on most holes it is not a good course

this course is short but so
e difficulty make us lots of fun.

Tough to take divots on a hard surface. Geared to novice intermediate golfer. Good course for practicing. Not crowded. Most holes quite forgiving

Played this course early 90's when it was a 9 hole course. Wow now 18 holes . great course for your iron game don't need driver on the longer holes .Greens were rolling great fairways in great shape .I will play there again .

Acton is a great golf course for anyone who wants to have a quick round and have fun. Greens and fairways are in excellent shape and the clubhouse staff and food are very good. Shorter course makes you not able to hit driver every single hole which is good, and you certainly hit every single club in your bag throughout the round. Would highly recommend especially for families and beginners or anyone just looking to have a fun round. That's what golf is all about

Nice course, Fairways were wide and good. I like the nature feeling of this course!! Good bang for your buck!!

Beware of Hole # 14. It is a par 3 but with a tall tree position right in the middle of the fairway and coupled with thick bush to the left of the fairway, you need to hit the ball and make it fly past above the tree and guaranteed, you will be close to the dancing floor.

This is a true country course, staff very friendly, even the local golfers contribute to a great golf day.

The course is short in length, but still provides a challenge. I played with a high handy caper and we both had a great time.

Easy going atmosphere here - no city stress! Just a friendly course with a few challenging holes and a super staff.

We got off to a bad start; there was some confusion as to the direction of the club; was it north or south of hwy 7. We did not see any signs to indicate where the club was. We only found it because we asked a person standing in their driveway who told us to keep going up the road. Pro shop told us they could only get us off "as carts came in from the course". Course was interesting enough and pretty with the autumn colours but the conditions were below average. Major issue for me was that scorecard yardage was different than posted on the sign at the hole making for some difficulty with club selection. Greens were fast but small and bumpy (boy, I wish golfers would repair their ball marks), We traveled about 90 km as a concession to a non-driving family member but would never do it again!! Sorry!

This is a nice 18 Hole course that is a perfect size to challenge both the high handicapper and scratch golfer. It has some very interesting pin positions with greens that are well maintained. As clichéd as it may sound, keeping it in the fairway is the most important part for success on this golf course. You can play it without a driver or if your a long hitter you can drive several greens on this course.

Shorter course that lets you reach greens in regulation even if you are not a long hitter. Some tough pin placements on mounded greens led to a lot of 3 putt greens. Fairly laid back course let me play as a single so I finished in under 2 and a half hours.

The course was great was challenging enough for a beginner like myself with the right amount of short and long holes to practice.

Terrible experience...each hole we had to wait 5-10 minutes ....green was empty but front team didn't hit the ball and had a chat and say hi to the other playes ....3 teams were waiting for them...no sorry..terrible...

Fairways are well kept and wide, so quite forgiving. Greens run true resulting in many 1 putts. Wooded surrounding and countryside setting is very pleasing, make for enjoyment. Some challenging longish par 3s will test your accuracy. The short par 4s can yield easy pars and make you believe that you are good. Finally this is what golf is all about, feeling good after a round of 6 or 8 pars!

this course is worth the drive out of the city but you will notice a couple greens that need work done...this definitely affected my putting. Either than that a good 3 1/2 hour round. Will return!

Love playing there, staff was very friendly and cooperative . Surly will play again... Highly recommend

Hadn't played this course for a couple of summers, due to the overbooked, incredibly slow pace of play. Thought we'd give it another shot. Unfortunately, that is still the case. Asking a marshall for some friendly intervention with the slow groups in front is nothing more than a waste of breath. Won't be back.

It was good time there... Staff was great... They helped us to for joining our 2 groups , every one there was very friendly and helpful... Surly recommend this course and will be there frequently...!!

Only for the beginner. Condition of course isn't even worth describing . For the dollar value I would rather go to the range!
