Ariss Valley Golf and Country Club - Lakes Course

About
Ariss Valley Golf & Country Club, located in southwestern Ontario on the outskirts of Guelph, offers three different nine-hole golf courses. All 27 holes stretch across a beautiful rolling landscape that is dotted with large ponds. The land is also densely forested, making shot accuracy integral in doing well. The Valley's creek also meanders through several holes. Each golf course at Ariss Valley Golf & Country Club is uniquely designed to offer a variety of different challenges. The Lakes Course, as its name implies, features plenty of water hazards. There are also strategically placed, Ohio white sand bunkers to be cautious of. Although it has a good amount of challenges, players of all skill levels will enjoy the golf courses at Ariss Valley Golf & Country Club.

good course some sloppy greens.
good value for your money, but with that being said, some of the greens are burnt, with a few of them having large patches of burnt/unmaintained grass.
Poor operation
My game was forced to finish by the staff even before the sunset it was 7:30 pm. I have never experienced such a rude golf course for 20 years my golf life.
Greens need work
We have played this course before several times but this time the greens seemed to be burnt out.An intterrible shape.
Fairways and tboxes were good.
This course played much better 3 weeks ago then it is now.
Not what it used to be
Terrible greens terrible fairways feels like you're playing the rough off the fairways. This course used to be beautiful. The new owners have not done a thing to it.
Poor pace & conditions
It was a Sunday round, but 5:10 was too long. Waiting at every tee was frustrating. Played Willows / Lakes. The conditions on Lakes were poor. Many issues with the greens specifically. Also, Tee boxes are very uneven and in poor shape.
Ariss has availability because of their 27 holes, otherwise it is not one of my preferred courses in the area.
Good round
Good round out at Ariss. Staff were very friendly and course was in good shape.
Greens in rough shape. Pace very slow.. some tee blocks rock hard
Nice lay-out poor condition
I like this layout, staff were great but the course is dry and scrubby. Serious burn-out on some greens and fairways. Needs fertilizer and water. Plenty water.
Good times
Friendly staff and great pace of play for a weekend... Greens need a bit of TLC
Greens are in extremely bad condition
I hadn't played this course in a few years and was excited to return. I like that they have three nine-hole courses to choose from and the course is very pretty. Unfortunately the grounds have really been let go, the greens are brown and dead in a lot of spots. I haven't seen a course this poorly maintained in a long time, it's really unfortunate because there's so much potential here but I won't be returning anytime soon.
