Ariss Valley Golf and Country Club - Pines Course

Really like the layout, super wide fairways, everything in great shape except for the bunkers, they are unplayable, they have just given up on the bunkers. Beautiful views from many places in the course. Greens rolled true and pretty quick even though they were a tad long. I will be back for sure.

This course is a fantastic course to play. 3 different course to choose from. Willows pines and lakes. All are fun, with some challenges. Greens need alot of TLC. Staff are super friendly too. Will be back again.

This course used to be very beautiful however, the green keeping is very bad. The grand crew left grass clipping everywhere on the fairway and the rough. The clipping of the green was dump directly next to a bunker. All bunkers have no sand and only weed. The least they can do is pull some weed or spray some roundups. Don’t come!

The course needs yardage markers - red 100 yards away, white 150 yards away, and blue 200 yards away.

Course wasn’t in the best shape, It’s way over priced. Gone way down hill.

Let's be honest...it's a little rough. Fairways are shaggy and inconsistent. Like a lot of undervalue courses (but they charge premium prices, especially on weekends) they have given up on the bunkers. They're just weed hazards of mud. Greens are 5 out of 10. I believe they lost a greenskeeper a while back and they cant get it right. 3 - 9 hole courses at play here with The Lakes taking the prize for best 9 holes to play. Kinda scenic. The day my brother and I played they had a tournament on the Lake Course and it was a family and friends deal complete with LOUD music, yelling and hollering etc....pretty bad

I've played Ariss before and the course was in great shape. Today, the course was lacking and wasn't in good condition. Bunkers were over grown by weeds, rough was over growing into the greens, rough was not cut, fairways had multiple weeds. The staff is very friendly, the greens themselves were is excellent shape.

Greens had bare spots on every hole. Sand traps had no Sand and a lot of weeds, very disappointing. Not worth the money

When I checked in at the desk, I was told that the starter would pair me up with another player but when I got to the first hole there was no starter. After I walked back to the clubhouse, I was told I could just start on my own. I played 18 holes as a single which I enjoyed but it was a bit of a confusing start. At one point a course employee on a golf cart came up to me and told me that I should let the pair behind me (who were in a cart) play through because I was walking. But the reality was that I was waiting for the foursome in front of me at virtually every hole. Ariss Valley offers good value and I enjoyed my afternoon. My main complaint would be the lack of yard markers as you approach the greens. I played 18 holes but only saw 2 or 3 markers. I don't have a scope or GPS so I missed numerous shots when I misjudged the approach distance. A few more benches would be appreciated by those walking.

Not the best experience. At the turn we were rudely confronted by the started asking what took our group of 4 so long. I agree we didn’t 9 in 2hours 15 minutes mind you we competed the full 18 in 4 hours exactly. If the starter simply addresses us with respect instead of attempting the talk down to us it would have been a better experience. Also it took us that time to do the front nine because the group behind us were let start early aswell as almost hitting us with their drives on multiple occasions. So we waited for them and let them play through which took about 10-15 minutes of waiting. We pay good money to play all golfers should be treated with respect and not have to deal with a starter or marshal who feels they can speak to paying customers however they like

good value for your money, but with that being said, some of the greens are burnt, with a few of them having large patches of burnt/unmaintained grass.

My game was forced to finish by the staff even before the sunset it was 7:30 pm. I have never experienced such a rude golf course for 20 years my golf life.
