Gleneagle Golf Course
About
Gleneagle Golf Course in Arlington is just an hour north of Seattle. The 5,949-yard, par-70 layout may seem relatively short, but it's a course that will test your shot making skills and accuracy with strategically placed bunkers and undulating greens. The layout makes up for any lack of length in many other ways, including the treacherous rough that lines the rolling fairways. Water hazards come into play as well, but there are more on the front nine than the back. There are some challenging holes but overall, players of all skill levels will enjoy the golf course, especially with its backdrop of cedar and fir trees spread across rolling hills. With a driving range also available, Gleneagle offers one of the area's best values for the money.

course conditon not as expected
My work schedule had an opening, so I decided to golf. :-) I had not played Gleneagle for over a year, so I thought it worth a try. I don't regret playing Gleneagle but wished, as I had with each previous outing, the course had been better managed.
The tee boxes were a mess and many of the greens were in poor condition, with afflictions such as muddy ruts, bare patches, and chunks of turf missing that did not appear to be caused by un-repaired ball marks. Pace was slow because the group ahead seemed unaware and uncaring that others were also playing--they were so slow the group ahead of them vanished after the first hole. Pace at Gleneagle has been a problem every time I have played it---Gleneagle does not employ a marshal to keep players moving.
The course layout is rather fun, with narrow fairways that reward straight drives and punish wayward shots. There are trees, ponds, and rock-hard bunkers that can cost several strokes. Most holes require a sound strategy to play and will occasionally support a bold attack, however, carry several extra balls in case you choose to play aggressively without being well practiced. :-)
Not crowded at all. Great service. Course conditions we okay, but not as bad as other reviews.

Tee boxes are not in great shape
The putting surfaces are slow, soft and green. The rest of the course if dry and firm. The tee boxes need some work but the course is playable and enjoyable. The houses on the course are everywhere and can be distracting, especially on the tee's.

Beat up
Gleneagle is always a fun course to play, especially for the money. However. The tee box’s and greens are in very rough shape. But golfing always beats working so I’ll definitely be going back again.
Tight Course, Great Greens, but Needs Some Grooming
This is a tight challenging course with very nice greens. However, be warned that they are tad slow, but very true! The tee boxes were brown with no grass, and the fairways need some attention. However, if you are a straight shooter, this is a good course for you.
8:33am Monday Chaos
My experience wasn’t what I had hoped it would be. Clumps of dead grass around fairways and rough, dirt holes on greens, slow play ahead with more than 4 golfers. I played 9 and called it quits. I am hopeful that my next visit would be a better outing.
We appreciate you taking the time to review the course and rate us. We are going to pass on your feedback to the team. Thanks for visiting Gleneagle Golf Course, and we hope to see you again in the future.
Challenging Little Course
Some tight fits, lots of elevation changes, but not very long. It’s in a lot better shape than in years past.
Okay course
Rough is a bit thick for amateurs, no flat lies, greens are better on the back 9 than front 9. Overall ok. Great Staff, very helpful and friendly.

Course dismal look
Seriously, i live in Woodinville and have golfed this course 30xs in the past 25 years....Ownership has changed i think 1 or 2 times....For starters the tee boxes look like kindergarden playgrounds for 6 year olds...markers for teebox tees are in horrible shape..2nd, please terminate your superintendant, if you have one...The ladies that own the course, time to sell....This place is a joke, ...Your prive should be 29 bucks with a cart....Your greens were pretty good i will say....Also, youv need to show some curb appeal when you arrive...You have 0.......this place needs 200-300 thousand dollars from an investor....Will not golf here until i see changes.....115, for my buddy and i ...Complete ripoff.......
