Home course
Love my home course. Friday afternoon, started off slow. I was a single so people were nice enough to let me play through and finished in just under 4 hours. Was on pace for about 4.5.
Great day on the course.
Course is in decent shape right now. Hole 18 drainage work is nearly complete, except for the huge mess off to the right near hole 1.
Play too slow and many beginners
The course was very full and the foursome in front of us was very slow. Clearly hosting some beginners who left clubs behind and golf gloves behind as we played. I did enjoy that the course had some elevation and the layout was reasonable. I found the ground pretty hard and dry. I drove over an hour to play this course because of the value with a Golf Now deal including a cart. I would not do it again.
In Good Shape Right Now
The course was in decent shape. The greens were as good as they get and pace of play was okay, for a change. Staff is always excellent! The only thing wrong with golfing at Cedarcrest is the requirement to use GolfNow for bookings now.
Great course
Definitely a shorter course with only 2 par 5’s. The course was well kept and very enjoyable.
We are at the restaurant afterwards which was great too. Pub food, tasted fantastic. Nice deck over looking the course.
Old NW Track Worth a Visit
I have played Cedarcrest many times during the 40 years I've lived in the Seattle area. I'm a fan of 100-year old golf courses that have stood the test of time, and though we enjoyed our round, there are some very helpful and inexpensive improvements that could be made to Cedarcrest to make the golfing experience more enjoyable. Yardage markers in the fairways are sparse to non-existent. There are a few remaining that haven't been overgrown with grass, but most are broken and unattractive. Just some red, white and blue stakes in the fairway to mark 100, 150 and 200 yard distances respectfully would be a very nice upgrade.
Great value during the week
The greens are very fast and the course has a fun layout
Slow, Again!
Third time playing this season and was EXTREMELY SLOW AGAIN! Marshalls do absolutely nothing to keep pace of play moving. Hole 9 was a temporary green half way down the fairway. Couorse is in terrible condition. This used to be a great course but no more.
Great value
This course is in excellent shape and alot of fun to play especially with the low price you pay
S-L-O-W!
Two five hour+ Sundays in a row! Marshalls were there and did absolutley nothing but drive around looking for lost golf balls. We quit after four hours on hole 13. YUCK!
2.5 Hour Front Nine
The pace was slow on a Friday as expected and the construction on #9 was frustrating as it took the only par 5 on the front out of play.
Great value
5 plus hour round is too much. Even with Marshall was present
