Weather forcast was not good and it was Thanksgiving Sunday so course was not busy for a 2 oclock tee time. Weather turned out to be perfect, course was great , played 18 holes in 1 hour and 45 min for the golfnow.com price of 13.50 . Doesn't get any better than that. Still made it home in time for turkey!

Course was ingreat shape and the greens were veryfast and true, not a common thing for ontario in mid october.

The course layout is good, conditions are average,,,,needs alittle work.

we were the first ones off in the morning and therefore there was no one in front to hold us up. got the round finished in just over three hours
course was already in condition to be played as the groundscrew was already finished with their duties.

Great "Links" type course. Will be back many more times. Remember to drive it straight or you are in trouble. Par 3's to 5's.
Good challenging course.

If you enjoy links style golf this is a must play course. It is in the middle of nowhere, and the multi directional wind is a constant. The amenities are basic. The practice facilities are better then many I have used at much higher priced courses. But I came to pit myself against the course. To be honest I really don't care that much about a fancy clubhouse or fully stocked pro shop. I am there for the course. The course is as advertised! Tough and punitive. Fescue and pot bunkers that tame the ego abound. I had read many reviews of this course prior to playing. The information gathered was accurate. I purchased the course yardage/guide book. IT IS A MUST! If you want to score well. It was an experience that can not be matched by other so called links course I have played. The only ingredient absent was the sea. I walked the course. The cart paths are rough and primitive. The tee boxes where in good condition for this time of year. The fairways were fast and rolling/undulating. The greens surprised me the most. Really good condition and running moderately fast and true. Bunkers were deep! So much fun to navigate this course. Slow play on this day due to a tournament and shear number of golfers. Leave the ego at home if you play this course. The fescue will eat wayward balls and the bunkers will punish miscalculations of distance and direction. It reminds me of Glencairn GC but more authentic in design. Does this course have needs? Yes, but the positive aspects outweigh the negatives. Give it a try.

To be fair the weather before we played was terrible with torrential rain most of the night before. I called to see if the course was open and was told that things were in pretty good shape but I would have to walk as no power carts were allowed. So I drove the hour plus to get there and headed out into the worst conditions i have ever played in. There was water on almost every fairway and 2' deep in some places. I lost several balls in muddy puddles in the middle of the fairway and retrieved many others with my 15' ball retriever, anything hit into a bunker was gone. The course should have been closed for the day and allowed to dry out.
The poor conditions of the day aren't what leads me to not recommend the course though. It is proud of being named #9 out of the top 50 courses in Ontario but from what I saw it is a middle of the pack course at best. The greens were very nice but the tee blocks and fairways were not in great shape with lots of unrepaired divots dozens of broken tees not cleaned up and litter. The signage was minimal, no yardages, many holes didn't have a ball washer or garbage can. The fescue rough is mostly just weeds. The numerous pothole bunkers are filled with muddy beach sand. No beverage cart the day we played, there was a marshal on the course but I'm not quite sure what he was doing, we caught up to and had to follow a slow fivesome for the last 4 holes and we saw a sevensome (yes 7) on the front nine as we were finishing.

Greens are best part. Challenging course but not very well maintained. Fairways rock hard; iron shots that were hit a bit fat and hit in front of green would end up 10 to 15 yards over.Bunkers not maintained.

Excellent. Day of golf , look forward to more outings with my wife

I would play here again, the wind came up and so did the scores you better be able to hit the ball low here just watch out for the bunkers everywhere.

Extremely difficult course, if you get into trouble watch out, green side bunkers have been beating by the weather but the course is in great shape. greens are true but lightning quick! great course love playing it.

We enjoyed the many,many,many sand traps and the fescue.
You can pick from 4 Tees to suit your game. The cart paths are very rough.Nice practice area.

They are not kidding when they say this golf course is an adventure. It is very well maintained and the design is unforgiving with a multitude of ball swallowing pot bunkers and fescue lined fairways. It is set up like a scotish links style and they have succeeded in recreating that experience. If you think you are a good golfer bring your game to this golf course. I broke 100 (94) and only used 2 balls. At the end I was very happy and cant wait to challenge myself there again. I will be back for sure and I reccomend the experience to all golfers.

large undulating greens and ravenous fescue throughout

The course layout is challenging and you need some local knowledge for a lot of holes to know what clubs to use. The greens are in very rough shape and the bunkers are unplayable mud holes for the most part.
For this reason I do not recommend the course.

We played on the Sunday after the major storm on Friday,July 19. We were told the course was hammered and there were a few areas that were flooded. The course held up well and the greens were still ok even after the deluge. They would have been fantastic otherwise. The pace of play was vey slow for a twosome (over 4.5 hours). This is not a course for beginners or hackers. Great layout although I would not want to get my ego bruised too often playing it. Go play it but bring lots of cheap balls since you will lose a few, unless your name is Fred Funk.

Great to see the forward tees well maintained (not the norm for some courses around London). Links-style course gives advantage to straight hitters, and greens are pristine. Staff is always very friendly and helpful.

To be fair, the course had just been hit with a torrential rain storm that even forced closure the day before. First time in six years! So some fairways were still flooded and the bunkers were a mess. The greens were good shape but required cutting.
Normally this is a great course to play, a true links course and not very pretty. Clubhouse facilities are below par, but I go for the golf.
