Love this Course
The course is in pretty good shape and the greens are in great shape. There are challenges throughout the course for all level of players and the pace is relaxed and pretty good. A great course for walking if it is not too hot!
Enjoy!
Fun at Beaverton
Walked a pleasant Father's Day round in hot weather. First time at Beaverton (formerly Simcoe Shores Golf & Country Club). Welcomed by friendly staff, course was in decent condition and played well. A good course for high handicappers like me, although the course would also suit better golfers. Can't comment on any amenities as they were closed due to covid-19 restrictions. Overall a nice experience for a value course, would return.
No one will ruin my day of golf!! $50 a cart....
Nice day!! Love golfing with my awesome boyfriend. 3 star course. Nice and green right now. Was one of our favourite courses for the price you pay until this year. $50 for a coupe to ride in a cart together. WAY TO EXPENSIVE!!
Glad my boyfriend pays!!
Very beautiful course
First time to play golf in this course, green is in excellent condition. Reasonable price, nice staff. Will play again.
Just charge to much
Its all about the price. The course is for a high handicap or for someone who wants to try golf. The green fee was not to bad but 40 dollars more for the cart is ridicules, that is top dollar at a good course. This course should be 20 bucks to walk and 35 with a cart. Greens were so slow you could not even take a legitimate putt.

You have quoted wrong cart fees...$15.00 each if you ride together and $20.00 for a single rider....walking green fee is the cheapest in the area... being a Cottage golf course it’s great fun
Cheap place to get a quick round in
Great staff! Had an excellent round! Good bang for your buck. Not the prettiest course but it does have some great features. Will definitely go back.
value for money
Course is currently in good shape. Great wee course for beginners and can pose a challenge from the blues for more advanced players.
be back soon
the friendliest staff combined with a challenging course. many par 3's but accuracy still a must. all greens in great shape except one which was being repaired but still playable. affordability means i'll be back many times.
This would be an excellent course for a beginner but an average golfer will also be challenged to make pars.
This is also a good course for family play on a holiday. It is 18 holes.
Good Value
Fairly short course, and not in great shape as far as fairways compared to other more expensive courses, but greens are great and it is good value for the cost.
you get what you pay for
Simcoe Shores is a bare bones kind of club. The greens are small, have some small weeds, but are somewhat fast, run relatively true, have some undulations, and were fun to play. There was little difference between the fairways and rough........both had plenty of weeds. The layout had mostly par 3s that played quite long. The front nine was much longer than the back nine and had the only two par 5s on the course. If you want a challenge, play the front nine twice. If you don't, stick to the back nine.
I would probably play the course again, but only because I have a cottage in the area, and it would be a fun day with the family.
I you are a serious (or semi-serious) golfer, stay away from this one. If you are a casual golfer, out for some fun, you might find this one interesting.
Buyer beware
Lesson be learned... You get what you pay for... Golfed 3 holes and called it quits!

You must have been taking a rest off the PGA tour.....I challenge anyone to par this course....three holes does not give any course a far trial
We have a receipt that proves all of this. And that we each paid $25 on the same receipt. I even contact the club through a personal email and asked if we got double charged and they said no.
You are quoting the wrong cart price....double rider is $15.00 each... single rider is $20.00...the walking green fees are the cheapest in the area
