Good Value
Fairly short course, and not in great shape as far as fairways compared to other more expensive courses, but greens are great and it is good value for the cost.
you get what you pay for
Simcoe Shores is a bare bones kind of club. The greens are small, have some small weeds, but are somewhat fast, run relatively true, have some undulations, and were fun to play. There was little difference between the fairways and rough........both had plenty of weeds. The layout had mostly par 3s that played quite long. The front nine was much longer than the back nine and had the only two par 5s on the course. If you want a challenge, play the front nine twice. If you don't, stick to the back nine.
I would probably play the course again, but only because I have a cottage in the area, and it would be a fun day with the family.
I you are a serious (or semi-serious) golfer, stay away from this one. If you are a casual golfer, out for some fun, you might find this one interesting.
Buyer beware
Lesson be learned... You get what you pay for... Golfed 3 holes and called it quits!
You must have been taking a rest off the PGA tour.....I challenge anyone to par this course....three holes does not give any course a far trial
