North Course
Great track with tough layout . Lots of elevation, feskew lined fairways and so much sand you need to bring your bathing suit. South track at bond head is also very nice. Less elevation but more water on the south 18
Very Disappointing
The course, overall, felt like concrete!
The tee boxes were in horrendous shape and looked like they hadn’t been attended to in weeks.
God only knows when they last watered the fairways! There was no consistency in their play. Mediocre at best, or concrete at worst!
The greens were minimally attended to…cut and watered, sure, but ball divots all over the place. I get it, we should take care of our own divots and one more - and many don’t take care of their own, let alone another, but greens keepers cannot ignore them either…I cannot believe that many divots were the result of one day’s play!
For $120, I expect more.
Great course. A lot of challenges but fun. Highly recommended for everyone who loves the challenges
Beautiful and challenging course.
The Club at Bond Head North course is a unique and enjoyable course to play. There are many elevation changes including a couple of holes that seemingly play straight uphill. Very enjoyable and a good challenge to golfers of all abilities. Course conditions were excellent.
Super challenging and professional
It was an amazing experience to play such an amazing and beautiful course. Has its own challenges which makes you wanna think every shot. Got my first ever eagle here, which was heck of an adrenaline rush for me on hole 17 Par 5. Would come here again.
Exceptional !!
Great course to play , friendly staff and overall great time … would definitely go back
Beautiful and challenging course. Have never been disappointed in all the years of golfing there. Dining facilities are wonderful as well.
Difficult Rough, worse bunkers.
Fairways and greens were great, the rough was very high and impossible to find a ball even that just rolled in. The bunkers were a disaster, rocks, weeds, water & muddy and it didn't rain for days.Even the starter warned us about the bunkers.
Pace of play
My tee off time was 7:45 and was very disappointed with pace of play. I approached the Marshall about iThe two groups in front of me were very slow and not one time was the group warmed to speed up their pace. I waited at every tee box for 10-15 mins. And had to wait an additional 5-10 mins in between every shot. I could understand if I teed off later in the day but being one of the first groups to tee off for the day it should have moved a lot quicker. My round was done after 1pm………
GOAT pasture
There are tough course, then there is Bond Head. The course is laid out of the side a hill. You’re playing vertical either coming or going with elevation changes of 50-100 ft on a hole. Some gorges require you to carry over 200 yards. With a slope rating harder than the Hamilton golf and country, and Pebble beach.
And then there are the greens, difficult to hit, very small, some only 50 ft accross, elevated 30 ft , But the worst part were the finishings. Inconsistent with speed, holes crowned, and green so long, yiu see everyone foot prints, penalized for a straight putt, bouncing, only to miss the hole.
At this price, there are much better courses, Glenn Abbey, Otter Creek, Grand National Niagara.
Enjoy
Bond Head North
Course suited for more experienced players. Not for beginners starting the game.
