Club at Bond Head - North

Rained heavily the day before.

Cart path only on NORTH COURSE

requires much too much walking ..

.much more than simply walking the entire course.

The club at Bond Head North course is a test of golf and guesswork. A few holes have a let's see what happens here vibe. Windy conditions, large undulating greens, longer carries and lots of sand. The rough and "short cut" areas were pretty thick. All conditions are great with greens at a moderate speed. If you miss the greens on approach, there is a lot of trouble but I found 30-40 balls so it was more other golfer's troubles. I will play this course a few more times to get the hang of it. Birdied 1 and 6 before dropping back to bogie golf. Pace of play was exceptional since we had a group of 5 in front for 2-3 holes then they invited us to play through. Ended up 3:50 round. Looking forward to the next time. Thank you

Great course layout and pace of play. Greens were alittle rough, as no one was repairing divots. Great value. Pro shop staff very friendly .

It would appear that the club at bond head is struggling. The conditions are poor. The grooming around the paths are tired the paved paths are terrible. The sand traps are the worst. I xpect damage to your clubs from the concrete they have in the bunkers and traps!

The courses are great and a ton of fun (especially the crazy north course), but please put in some red white and blue stakes. Yes I have a rangefinder etc but for the minimal price of some wood, this course could be 5 times better. It’s nice to look ahead and gauge yardage to your approach shot accurately, and know the center of the fairway with limited sight lines ahead. Anyhow just my two cents, thanks!

Friendly enough staff even tho they over packed the tee sheet. Saw the beverage cart once all round. $12 for a small basket of range balls is absolutely criminal. Over 4.5 hrs for the round was pathetic as there was no one ensuring pace of play. Don't know if I'd go back and it was a Thursday afternoon.

Great track with tough layout . Lots of elevation, feskew lined fairways and so much sand you need to bring your bathing suit. South track at bond head is also very nice. Less elevation but more water on the south 18

The course, overall, felt like concrete!

The tee boxes were in horrendous shape and looked like they hadn’t been attended to in weeks.

God only knows when they last watered the fairways! There was no consistency in their play. Mediocre at best, or concrete at worst!

The greens were minimally attended to…cut and watered, sure, but ball divots all over the place. I get it, we should take care of our own divots and one more - and many don’t take care of their own, let alone another, but greens keepers cannot ignore them either…I cannot believe that many divots were the result of one day’s play!

For $120, I expect more.

Great course. A lot of challenges but fun. Highly recommended for everyone who loves the challenges
