Bond head North
North course for the first time. Definitely going back as it is a fantastic track. A fun challenge with lots of elevation changes and beautiful scenery. Only criticism was the pace of play, Marshall was very helpful and got me (single) through the slow groups. Felt rushed to play through so...
Poor conditions
Tee boxes and fairways needed to be aerified. Rough needed to be cut. Lots of grass clippings in the way. Stuck on sprinkler heads and and broken irrigation flooding the course. Staff are rude.
Disappointed
Played the North course for the first time this year and was extremely disappointed with the terrible condition. Tee boxes were beaten up, fairways were hard, rough was long, bunkers were rock hard.
Tough track
The course can be made more playable by cutting the grass near the greens. No issue with the long carries or blind shots but frustrating to lose ball in medium cut rough.
first time 2021 at bond head
very very excellent - I was trapped between two foursomes and nobody else booked so I was a single - group ahead had courtesy to let me through - but was still sandwiched between two foursomes - round was done in 4hr15min - absolutely beautiful course - minor complaint I wish that hotdogs weren't some quasi covid issue at halfway house - but the packaged sandwich was find on the go for a starving golfer. thanks Clublink and Bond Head.
Course is challenging but fun. Starter extremely not welcoming
Numerous times through the round, balls were constantly lost just off the fairway but still in the rough. Taking some time to find the ball, ending to the half a little late, the starter was very rude about how we needed to have a bit more pace. Even though no one was delayed behind us, he was still extremely aggressive. Typically the course is very fun but, from the last two rounds here being extremely aggravating I will not play here again.
can't wait to start raking the bunkers
tough getting out of some of those bunkers with water trenches and hardness

35 degree heat feeling like 40.......no water no the course, no cart drinks.
Bunkers in terrible condition. course was in good shape, great greens and fairways.
Didnt get the $500 of customer service. Looks like this course running out of funds.
Expect more from Clublink
The course is in desperate need of help.
Tee boxes are chewed up with divots, sand traps have not been touched for a while, no rakes, seems like they are using covid as a excuse not to maintain the course. Though the green fee do not reflect any changes. Rough was deeper then US Open. Greens were full of brown ball marks that have not been dealt with in a while.
Overall the deep rough made it almost impossible to find your ball which led to a very slow round for all. Seems like they have almost abandoned the course. For the record I have played the course several times over last few years. Never seen it like this and will never return.
Best round this year for the money
I’ve played at $100 plus courses all year that have not compared to this course. The value for the twilight times here with a cart is the best. Love every time I play here. One of the most beautiful looking courses you will see. Can’t wait for the fall to see the course change colours.
