Golfer Reviews
First Round on Bond Head North
Very good course - good layout, easy to get to. Staff was accommodating. One warning a lot of t-shots require carries and lots of uphill shots. Overall would play again
Not as good as expected
Played here before, but our last round was a little disappointing. Sand hazards where in rough shape, and food amenities and options where very limited (no beverage service offered during the round, club house had limited seating on patio - no umbrellas during a very sunny afternoon)
Another "Just OK Clublink course
First off, I don't care for courses that do not allow or facilitate walking.
Bunkers were TERRIBLE!! Zero maintenance on them. You cannot always blame Covid for this. Ditto with lack of ball washers or water on the course for players. These are great money saving features that clubs blame Covid on. Nonsense.
As my title indicates, just another very mediocre Club link course.
I will neither recommend or play this track again.
Not worth $150
The course is set up fairly well but for $150 I was kind of disappointed. Bunkers were in terrible shape, fairways still had weeds and patchy spots, as did the greens. Paid about $7 for range balls and only received 15-20 balls which was also disappointing. Not one to be fussy but given this is a Clublink course and the cost of green fees, not overly impressed. Price needs to come down or staff need to get course up to appropriate standards before I go back.
The cheaper version of eagles nest
Everything about the north coruse is great and challenging. Found some tee boxes to but rock solid and bunkers weren’t the greatest. But over best bang for your buck
Great layout
Always enjoy this course, it is tough, conditions of greens and fairways were good, Sand and waste bunkers were not good, lots of rocks and gravel.
Marshaller
4.5 hour round and the marshaller tells us to pick up the pace as there were two holes open in front of us. We started the round with two holes open in front! A little dry but has been dry of late. Otherwise enjoyed the round.
