Golfer Reviews
Better maintenance please
Greenside bunkers have no sand, the fairways were burnt and dried out couldn't get a divot out of the ground and also the greens have small disease marks makes it really difficult to put around it
Bondholders in need of rdpair
Played bondhead South today. I must say I was disappointed in that my assumption was becuse of covid there hasn't been much play this year. Thought the course would be in much better shape. It looks like clublink didn't bother to turn the water on the course until this week. Already dried out. It's gonna be a long summer if they don't get on it. Also, bunkers are a disaster. Needs major work to bring the course back to what it used to be. I'm sure members aren't happy.
Slow Green
Green is so slow, not like two years ago even last year.
Awful condition
Have played here many times. Always good. This time dandelions on the fairway. Greens were probably the slowest I’ve ever played. Nice course but today not worth the $100 green fee
Terrible condition
This course was in TERRIBLE condition for a club link course. They completely let it go during COVID... YET has no problem gouging and raising their prices.
Dandelions on the greens?! Nothing has been cut... The worst condition of a course I've ever seen.
Poor conditions
Clublink is spending the absolute bare minimum to keep this course going, The bunkers are the worst - barely any sand in most of them. And surrounded by weeds and uncut grass. The fairways are full of weeds as well. The greens are not too bad . The only thing that keeps me coming back is the original design of course . A real test of golf . Too bad the conditions are so poor.
May Reopening of season
Played this course many times. This time it was in horrible condition. You could lose your ball on the fairway. Tufts of dandelions on the fairway. Edges and rough barely shaped. Maybe 3 of 18 greens worth putting on. Paid $147 and the only thing that I enjoyed was that fact that I was golfing again.
Course under Covid
Course under CovidHonestly the green fees are extravagantly high given the greens were actually not in great shape considering the course hasn’t been played in a month or more during this shut down… This was disappointing. Last year I was able to play around on this course for under $100 at the same time of day and now it’s 30% more… Not sure why it’s so much higher?
Bond south
Good layout but the course was in terrible condition and it was a slow pace. Bunkers were not playable. Weeds everywhere. It’s clear they weren’t ready to open. It’s not worth the 130+hst price tag.
