Club at Bond Head - South

Played this course many times. This time it was in horrible condition. You could lose your ball on the fairway. Tufts of dandelions on the fairway. Edges and rough barely shaped. Maybe 3 of 18 greens worth putting on. Paid $147 and the only thing that I enjoyed was that fact that I was golfing again.

Course under CovidHonestly the green fees are extravagantly high given the greens were actually not in great shape considering the course hasn’t been played in a month or more during this shut down… This was disappointing. Last year I was able to play around on this course for under $100 at the same time of day and now it’s 30% more… Not sure why it’s so much higher?

Good layout but the course was in terrible condition and it was a slow pace. Bunkers were not playable. Weeds everywhere. It’s clear they weren’t ready to open. It’s not worth the 130+hst price tag.

Still early in the season as the greens were sandy and uncut but not too early for the silly pin placements!!!...do they ever rake the sand bunkers ?

Great track but never got to play.

Another great lockdown move by Ford on golf courses where there are massive Covid outbreaks....said no-one ever.

Course conditions good for early season. Greens ran slower than usual. Wind was not a factor which is usually not the case on this open, links style course. Many approach shots offer interesting challenge.

Beautiful weather for golf in November...............the course was in very good condition and the staff was very friendly and helpful..............pace of play was good too...........price was 70 CAN$ before tax/fees

Good course well maintained and friendly staff but I don’t know if we had a bad cart or just lack of maintenance, but the cart was dying on about the 8th hole and we just thought that it was a slower cart because some places have pretty slow carts. Later to find out that the cart was just dying from not being charged. By the 13th hole we were having to push the cart with 100% of the pedal pushed and got to the point where on flat ground we were having to push it. This lasted till the 17 hole where it was barley moving with us pushing and the gas all the way down. So we had to end up leaving the cart. Tried calling the clubhouse three times and nobody picked up. Mind you this was all in the dark as we had an extremely slow pace due to the cart. We could have finished the round but we were cut short because the cart couldn’t keep up. In the end we only really played 13 holes.
