Woodington Lake Golf Club - Legacy Course

Well maintained course presents itself as a good destination just outside GTA. Spire Course feels long but wide and lots of room to keep shots in okay. Deep bunkers with packd sand. A few blind holes and severe doglegs, could use better signage for non regulars. A couple of long water carries, you need to hit the ball 150 yds or this one's not for you.. Even good regulars say hole 8 is too hard.

Course was in great shape. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Only comments I have are that some tee boxes need to be levelled and the driving range needs work. There are no targets.

Drove over an hour for my tee time only to get to the course and my tee time was cancelled. Course didn’t even try to reach out to cancel. Zero compensation for my wasted time and money. Brutal customer service.

Excellent course and we liked the new course layout!!

The course was in great condition, staff was friendly, no problem with pace of play as there were not many golfers out, probably due to the heat (36°C). This was my first time playing the course with the new layout and I'm looking forward to playing the Lakes 18 soon.

First time playing at the newly redesigned layout at Woodington Lakes. I must say that it was a pleasure to play. As with the majority of courses out there, the prices have gotten ridiculous however the Hot Deal I got from GN made it a better value. Course conditions were very good except for the par 3 greens that need some attention but I attribute that to inconsiderate golfers more than anything else. All in all, great course and I have a great time.

There are two 18 hole courses, and they’ve taken the two front nines and combined them, and the two back nines and combined them. Because I played the course before it was a bit confusing and to be honest, I preferred the other combination of holes. But that’s just my opinion. The biggest problem today was that the golf apps that I use didn’t have the current layout. That may be a small complaint to some, but that’s how I track my strokes gained and my distances, so it was a bit of a pain. Overall, though of course, is fine as expected.

I eas surprised how beautiful the Spire Course is! I think its in my top 3 courses I've played qt this point.

Didn't like the new layout playing 9 holes on the Legends and 9 holes on the Legacy not a fan.Also way too many weeds on the fairways.

This course needs better maintenance. The greens were all in pretty rough shape. Nice layout and staff is great but could be much better!

This location should offer a replay 18, or a 9 whole option after a complete round of 18 is paid for. This would generate more money for the place.

This was my first time playing the course. Wasn’t 100% sure what to expect and when I stepped up to the tee box on hole # 1, I was really impressed with the really nice scenery along with great layout of the hole. This just continued throughout pretty much, the remainder of the course. This definitely provided its share of challenges with the many available tee box options…. Considering the time of year, greens filled nicely, fairways were very nice and the overall impression was very favourable. I will most definitely come back here for future rounds.
