Hidden Lake Golf Club - New Course

I usually play before 9am this way I don’t deal with the social crowds who hack up the golf coarse and do not play from the proper tee blocks and slow the pace of play down. I walk and usually finish under 3 hours 45 mins. Today was just under 5 hours. The pace of play was wayyyyy to long for first thing in the morning before 9am. The tee boxes definitely have been beat up and had lots of fill everywhere. Very hard to play the tee boxes(blue) when you have fill everywhere and no grip on your feet. I ended up playing way back or to the side of the blocks. The Coarse overall is in great shape with all the rain this year. There was a 2 some ahead of us and 4 some ahead of them who knew each other. They all played from blue tee blocks and could barely hit the ball 150yards. We tried to pass them 2 times and the Marshall asked us to not pass them as we would be waiting on every hole. We had a 2 some behind us who are members and complained several times because the Marshall told us to speed up meanwhile he didn’t want us to play through. I just ignored them and the Marshall because they wouldn’t let us Pass.

I play here very often as it’s close to my house and a good walking coarse.

I did not let this day bug me as I still played well and this is the first time it has been like this here.

They have a good driving range and a nice size putting green.

Only downfall to the putting green it use have to hit the pin they don’t have and holes.

Food is always good and I always try something different.

Over all the day was good minus the the length of the round.

I also finished 18( new coarse) with an eagle. So good way to finish the day.

Have played at this course a few times. However after rain the course ha very poor drainage for water and it’s virtually unplayable if you hit the ball on fairway.

If you plan on using a golf cart then pay for it online . You will save yourself $20. I made the mistake of booking a “hot deal “ time that didn’t include a cart expecting to pay for a cart upon my arrival. I assumed that I would be paying the same amount that was listed on GolfNow website. Well I was wrong. Don’t make the same mistake.

Good overall. Price was right with cart included which is always nice to find. One thing to keep in mind there are no drink carts out on course and New course drinks are only available when you hit 11 hole. If you get thirsty bring drinks from club house before you start your round.

Maybe they have drink carts usually but are short on staff right now, not sure….I didn’t ask. But we didn’t see one on the course for our entire round.

All in all good course good price and always enjoy being out there.

Me and my friends and a stranger were waiting for 1st tee about 15 minutes. The group ahead of our front group were very slow. Finally we are about to tee off in 1st hole. Marshal came up to us and pick up the pace. Is this joke? We couldn't even start. That is not welcoming nor pleasant. Never expected before. Played here several times m, most of the time staff were friendly and helpful. Maybe the marshal had a bad day.

The staff at this course were first class and very helpful. Club link has this course rammed with players and the pace of play was over 5 hours. There were many divots on the greens that had not been fixed.
