Nice to be golfing
Played with another 81 year old man Sam. Was able to help him with his chipping technique. Was able to judge my game and abilities to another 81 year old golfer. My distance and accuracy is far better than someone else's my age. Good outing.
Quirky but Fun Course
I had a good time playing and the staff were great. The course recently went down to 9 holes as they sold their front 9 for development.
The warm-up area is great, with green to chip and putt as well as nets to hit balls into.
While it has houses built throughout, they don't really come into play unless you really miss.
There are many forced carries around the green with hazards commonly positioned infront of the green. Position off the tee is more important than distance here imo. Some odd designs to holes and 4/9 of the holes are par 3's.
Pace of play was slow and could have been better - but the Marshalls' were vigilant and made an effort to stay on top of it.
Overall good 9 hole course
Definitely a great place to go for a nine hole round, big fairways with challenging approach shots make it fun for all levels of players
9H walking
Played solo. Great pace. Enjoyed the weather. Course was in perfect condition.
Great little hidden gem in Burlington
Staff were really great, I golf regularly but brought a couple guys who are newer to the game. Pace of play was so good we held no one up and were rarely waiting to hit a shot. Super friendly staff, made us very welcome.
Will play here again in a couple weeks.
Course is tight with houses down the sides of most fairways but lots of room.
Play from the blues if your a better golfer for a more challenging effort on the par 3’s
Great little course can’t wait till they open up the other 9!
Cheers
Excellent First golf course!
This was the first time I have ever played golf, and it's sad that the first nine was gone but either way it was an awesome back nine. We played white tees and best ball to speed my group of six up. Very fun experience and great practice, we scored +2 and I had such a blast. I recommend playing this course, and I've heard stories of albatrosses scored on the last part 5! But it's been changed to a par 4. Great Course!
