Milcroft
The greens were soft and rolled pretty nice. It’s backyard golf there so you have to deal with people hanging out enjoying there pools and bbqs. Can be scary if you spray a tee shot. The fairways were really hard and dry and there were a lot of yellow spots. Can’t really blame the course because we seem to be in a little bit of a drought here in southern Ontario . The starter was kind of pestering us to hurry up which I really don’t enjoy. Was a 440 tee time so obviously I’m gonna be one of the last golfers there. All in all it’s a nice course and I really enjoy the layout. 7.4 out of ten
Nice, casual Round.
We enjoyed a nice casual round with 4 different levels of golfer. Pace was good, just over 4 hours on a holiday weekend, staff is awesome as well.
Greens are in great shape, the rough is concrete and errant shots will run miles on the hard pan. That’s nothing unique to Millcroft. Most of the courses in the GTA I’ve played in the past 2 weeks are feeling the same effects of almost O mm of ran in the month of July.

I belonged to the course in 2001, first time back
I thought the course was fun to play. We had not played the course for 20 years. It was fun, the tee sheet was full and the price was about $85.00 with a cart. Food and service is excellent. Dont let the deveioper build more. This can be a beautiful semi private course.
Good but could easily get better.
Pro shop staff poor really. They do the bare minimum.
Course is nice and challenging, although relatively short, but good for all golfers of every level.
One MAJOR problem is that the sand traps are thin on sand, and have lots of stones. Beware for club damage, and again, the pro shop kids will not likely know how to help you if you damage a club. They told me last time that they would “check into it and get back to me” yet never asked me who I was.
Oh well.
Surprisingly nice course!
Nice course overall. A little tight with lots of residential homes lining plenty of greens and fairways, but it didn't feel like too much like a slice was going to end up in someones yard. Lots of trees to protect the homes and knock those errant shots down or back at you!
Lots of par 3's and challenging greens. Lots of bunkers to make things a bit tougher too. Bunkers felt packed pretty hard and there were no rakes which was weird because they looked well maintained.
Is it the best course around? No, but it's definitely worth the money, especially if you live close by in Oakville, Burlington, Waterdown, Milton...etc.
My only complaint about the entire day was that on the FIRST hole, the starter drove up to us when we were on the green about 9 minutes after teeing off telling us we were playing slow. Nine minutes! Told us to play ready golf and to speed up. This ruined our start to the round. Put us all in a bad mood and had us comparing our pace to groups in front and behind us. He likely drove up because one of us took a second tee shot after shanking one left and wanted to put an end to that! It's called a provisional. If you want everyone to ignore that rule and play point of entry only for OB shots, put it up on the wall of rules they have outside the pro shop. And again, it was the FIRST hole. If he'd waited or actually just told a marshal to keep an eye on us, they would have seen that we were not slow AT ALL. Within 2 or 3 holes, we were putting on holes when the group in front was teeing off on the next hole meters away.
Anyway, all that said, it's a great spot. We had an awesome day and I would 100% go back for more.
Great golf course amongst the houses
I love golfing here as it feels like golfing in many Florida and Texas courses that back on to neighborhoods.
The only poor thing is the sand traps there is not a lot of sand and what’s there is not great quality almost like dirt than sand . But you stay out of them then the rest of the course is in great condition, greens are good and fast .
Slow play
The pace of play was slow.
There were several 2-somes and 3-somes in front of us that held up the pace of play; often spending a lot of time looking for balls as well as not playing "ready golf"
