Millcroft Golf Club's tight layout has the distinct feature of not having any fairways that run parallel to one another. The golf course has wide-open fairways and medium-sized, fast greens that are well bunkered. Water hazards come into play on 12 holes. Great course! But with one problem.
I play this course almost every week and they do a great job of maintaining the fairways and greens, however,…today with 4 of us teeing off on the par 3 15th, THREE grounds crew were weed whacking the bunkers in front of the green. They would not move, or turn off their equipment. We were all upset about this, and no one did well on the hole because of fear of hitting these guys… after putting out, I went to talk to one of them, and he completely ignored me and went to his cart…. Hopefully the head greens keeper will see this review and address the problem!
Good time
Good time overall but pace of play was slow. Marshalls were great - just some bad players on course I guess.
Great course for all levels.
Fun track that can be played by anyone.
Not too demanding or long. Pretty forgiving layout too.
Was in nice shape today. Greens were a bit slow after the rain yesterday but overall in really good condition and playing well.
Interesting layout. No parallel fairways ... just don't hit a house!!!
