Golfer Reviews
Millcroft
The course is in fantastic condition.
Tee blocks and fairways are great.
Greens are the best of area courses recently played.
Running very true and imaculate
Great Neighborhood Course
This course is in excellent shape. Greens are immaculate and T-boxes are level.
Great day out.
Spectacular Condition
Gem in the middle of the city. The course is on the shorter side, however, just play one tee block back. Loved the superb fast undulating greens, pristine fairways, interesting holes. I think one of most best kept courses I have played in the GTA. Have played many courses in the Durham area, and nothing compares to this for price and quality. The setting and clubhouse were lovely, and the breakfast great. Staff was exceptional. I would go back tomorrow (if I didn’t live so far away). Keep it straight or even fairly straight and houses lining the fairway are not an issue at all. Reminded me of resort course in Vegas or Florida.
first round
Course was in good shape.
Greens were difficult to read . The colour of the grass was mixed like a camouflage.
Enjoyed playing there
Millcroft is always good value and definitely challenging enough for all level of player.
Handicap flag
Course was cart part only, which made it very difficult with my two knees replaced just last year. Was golfing with 3 other seniors and we were all struggling. After 9 holes, when front nine was all dry, we asked to do 90 degrees . Ladies said no, which was very poor customer service! We were all suffering and limping out there and didn't evjoy the round. Again ground was not soaking wet on course.
Also the bathrooms were locked, manager had key and he was not at course! Very unprofessional
Great course
We were the first group (3) off. Finished the round in three and a half hours. Course was in very good condition but was very wet in areas. We walked but thinking it would have been cart path only.
Rough was really too long but hopefully that was because it was too wet to cut.
Course conditions other than the rough were very good.
Always have an enjoyable round!!
We have played Millcroft often over the past few years and always enjoy the overall experience! First round out this year due to a late spring. The course was still wet and it was cart paths only which we appreciate they are protecting the fairways the maintain the excellent condition we always enjoy there. Great value!
Wet-spring conditions
Course was very wet. Likely a time of year issue. I'd like to see them roll the fairways to reduce the shoggy conditions and preserve the course for later in the year.
Great course reminds me of Florida
If you’ve ever played many golf courses in Florida many have houses or townhouses backing on to the course.
It’s well maintained, challenging especially if your not on the fairway. A mix of 3,4 and par 5 . Water on some
Overall a fun course to play
Great value
Great value for money. Distance between holes can be a bit much when walking but that’s to be expected on a course of this nature. I’m good condition considering time of year.
Terrible speed of play
I was VERY unhappy about the pace of play. It was backed up by 2 groups by the 2nd hole. By the 10th it was almost 4 groups back. We only saw 1 Marshall and that was on the 10th. He said he told the slow groups to speed up but he was a young teenager.
Great condition for Dec 3
Pleasantly surprised by course conditions for Dec 3. Sunny day with light winds 48F got quite a few diehards out. Greens a little bumpy but fairways and tee boxes in good shape. No rakes in traps - no problem. Friendly reception made for a perfect day.
Golfing in November. WOW
The course is in magnificent condition
The front desk lady is a joy and certainly goes out of her way to make the experience top notch
