About
Tyandaga Golf Course is located in the heart of Burlington surrounded by the rugged beauty of the escarpment that encloses it. The municipal course is popular for its player-friendly layout. It has a gentle nature but it does offer a fair amount of challenges. Bunkers are strategically situated along the fairways and greensides. There are also a few ponds and a meandering stream that comes into play on several holes. One of the most difficult holes is the par-3 ninth, which features hazards along the entire right side from tee to green. It is a beastly 168 yards but par is possible. The back nine finishes with a strong hole as well. Tyandaga's tricky final hole has out-of-bounds down the right side but there is ample room down the left side for the tee shot. The deep green is sloped front to back with a bunker to the front right.

Golfer Reviews
Poor drainage made this course unplayable.
We paid for 18 holes but only played 9 holes due to course conditions. . The course was like a swamp. This course has very poor drainage due to red clay.
Tough Round
I understand it’s spring golf but this course was soaking wet all over and to make things worse the grass needs a trim. More than once today I lost a ball that clearly landed fairway. Greens are placed beside patches of grass 6 inches long or more

The course was a swamp. Wish I knew about hole 17 being under construction and course quality being so poor prior to booking.

Tough day walking
The course was still wet from a previous downpour so it was walking only. It was a tough day walking, course is very hilly and wet conditions just added to the track. The back nine is much harder than the front which is compounded by your energy level. I would suggest taking a cart when available as it will be a much more enjoyable experience.

Great Course - Hiden gem inside the resident
First time play this course. Great layout, excellent "greens". Several challenging and exciting holes like hole #1, #18 and (#17 - under construction but can imagine). Will return definitely.

Bad management
Booked to play with cart and was told that that morning they decided to be walking only! Was not given the option to cancel the reservation.

17th under Construction
We booked this course as we have for the past number of years and although the course is usually in great shape, we were not notified that the 17th hole was not playable due to construction until we arrived at the course. Until the construction is completed you will play the 10th hole a second time, and then play 18. Not a huge inconvenience, but it would’ve been nice to know when we booked.
Course overall was in good shape but very wet in spots.

Course still very wet but overall enjoyable.
No flat lies, lots of up and downs. Greens in very good condition.

challenging
Very challenging course at least for me, a new golfer of this year. It allows you to opt on the side of greed if you want to risk it, but rewards you if you hit a good shot.
1st and 17th holes are sort of nuts. Lots of good drop areas on the par 3s if needed
Pace of play
Back nine was so backed up we walked off the course. No marshalling was being done. This is usually not the case at this course. Unfortunate as it was a beautiful day
