Same old
You know, I really like the layout and the course has so much potential. if someone was willing to buy this course and spent some money fixing it up, maybe potential could become reality. Every time I play it I can’t believe how bad the conditions are, tees and fairways. I guess I keep hoping that things will change.
Saw one staff member the entire time…
cashier was the only staff member I saw the entire round. Not one Marshall to get us a cart or check receipts for teeing off. No Marshalls roaming the course, which could have easily corrected the pace of play. We ended up playing as a 6some and we’re still held up by the 3some infront of us playing with one bag of clubs. Tees off at 3, didn’t finish till 7:45…. Brutally slow round. Course conditions were sub par, slow greens, terrible stuff tee boxes. Not really anything nice to say.. won’t be back
Average course
Course layout is nice, but the grounds and the course conditions seem to be neglected. Giant potholes in the drive up to parking lot, as well as on the cart paths. Lots of pooling of water in certain sections of holes. Overall its ok to get a round in and practice for beginners.
Horrible course
Weeds everywhere on the fairway...greens were flooded and beaten up...never again!!
Its been a while
Its been over 12 years I have plaved this course.. I played Blue to Whites 9 holes) A few challenging holes. Overall course was in okay condition, fairways were a bit hard (may need more watering and aeration). Seems many players do not repair their balls marks on greens making them a bit rough (this is not the fault of Banty, but poor player etiquette)
Overall I will play again, weekday rates are generally okay
Awful
Worst conditions I’ve ever seen on a golf course. I would fire the entire grounds crew. Everything was brown, The ponds where empty, bunkers had more weeds then sand and the greens had dead (dirt spots) everywhere. I guess it’s a reflection of ownership. No direction from anyone, no starter, no carts available ( 9:50am tee time), no beverage cart and no pride in there business.
The best part of our round was the sweet older lady at the turn. Shameful that We payed money for that. Save your money play elsewhere.
Not like it used to be
Course is not well keep anymore, it’s in poor shape now.
