About
Turnberry Golf Club may not have the length of its sister course located only 20 minutes away, Eagles Nest, but it has the same challenging character and unique layout. Molded from abandoned quarries, massive outcroppings of earth were recreated to look like the seaside dunes of Eagles Nest. This 3,400-yard, executive layout has sparse vegetation, generous green complexes, and strategically placed bunkers. The golf course begins and ends with a long par 4 with an interesting variety of par 3s in between. Each hole was designed completely unique from one another to emphasize variety and playability. At Turnberry Golf Club, golfers will be forced to use every club in their bag.

Golfer Reviews
Great Condition
First time playing the course, the course is in great condition well maintained. Short par 3 course, Aim well as the fescue will eat your balls.
Definitely value for money, and gives you the feeling that you are playing i scotland. Highly recommend and will definitely be back.
Short but challenging course. The fairways and greens are in excellent condition. Would definitely appreciate clearer direction markers to the next tee. This would help first timers. Also, the tee number at the tee box could be made more conspicuous. Drop zones lacking.
Great course for a quick round.
Nice course when I’m visiting mining- laws from the states I always make a stop at Turnberry.
Great course.
Very well maintained. Tough course. Looks easy. One hole #4 is missing because of construction.
Great par 3 course
I’m a 13 Handicap. If you’re looking to hone in your iron and putting skills, this is a challenging par 3 course. A variety of par 3 variations with ups and downs, water and traps, but don’t expect to use your woods much. 15 of the 17 holes are 175yrds or less with some around 100yrds. Greens are generally large, but challenging to read.
Great Course
Really enjoyed the course. The only thing I’m disappointed about was not being aware that it’s currently only 17 holes.
Fun track
Early in season, course under repair but in good condition.
Staff very friendly
Disappointed
Two holes on the course were closed for construction/renovations, one is closed permanently making it a 17 hole course for the foreseeable future. Didn't know anything about it until I showed up at the course. No benches anywhere to sit down and rest while waiting for a par 3 green to clear. Some holes very wet and muddy. Played here before but this round was a big disappointment.
