Banty's Roost Golf and Country Club - Blue/Red

$55 to walk $75 to ride. Not even close to worth it. Course is in HORRIBLE shape. All the greens and fairways are burnt. They obviously do not water this course and do below the bare minimum to keep it open. I usually walk but my friend wanted to ride, when we went to take a cart it had no plastic divider in it and when we asked about it their answer was "oh did you want a divider?". I said "I dont know what does the province currently mandate for you guys"? This course is a joke. Save your money. Spend the extra $10 a go to a real golf course. Let this place continue to rot and finally die and get sold for houses.

Sorry but this is the worst course I have played on in over 10 years.

There was no starter and it is absolute chaos at the three nines at the clubhouse with groups teeing off from whichever nine they want, absolute amateur show!!

Fairways were dried out and greens in poor condition.

Fairways were so close together It was like a shooting gallery.

Save your money, DON’T Golf HERE!!!!

Really nice course layout, but the course is in really poor condition. Super dry and beat up. Half the sand bunkers are not bunkers anymore.

Overall enjoyed the round. Pace was good, however, course was Quite dry in several area and wet in others.

The rough is 5 feet high, the fairways are dry and unkept, the greens are bumpy and slow and that’s not even the worst part. The owner is an arrogant rude bully who walks around all day screaming at his staff in front of customers and really rude to the customers as well, if they don’t acknowledge him as the boss and if you don’t, I heard him threaten to kick one guy off the course even after he paid his fee including the golfnow fee which he said he didn’t care if it was from golfnow or anyone else.

They’ve spent all but $10 bucks to maintain that entire golf course…and that is not an exaggeration….it was a horrible experience and would never go back there.

Played Banty Roost today. Novice golfer, enjoyed the course but you can see that if they start putting some love into this course it would be something better. Felt that $75 with cart was much for what the course is but what can ya do.

The greens were not cut in a long time. Very bumpy and carpetty .Fairways were hard and burnt out no water in a long time.

They are letting this course go to crap. Use to be better a few years ago but now the lack of maintenance have made this course far from being worth the price they ask for.

I will not play again and continue to play mayfield if I decide to stay local.

Average course, poor conditions. Greens parched and slow; bunkers hard, dry, need care; pace was great since there were very few golfers; poor markings and we got lost somewhere around the 5th hole of the blue course, ended up on the red course and had to double back; no yardage markers except for 200, 150, and 100 sticks; for the GolfNow price of $50 I’d play again, but no more than that.

Covid protocols when it comes to cart, putting and ball washers is a joke.

Course is in horrible shape. Greens are burnt brown and also have long tracks in some of them. Fairways and tee boxes are ridiculously long.

Staff is very rude and unhelpful.

I will not be back.

In the days when the course was new, you can see it was well designed. Today the course is burnt, unmaintained rundown. It’s like it’s waiting for the bulldozers to show up.. Would play again ,in the fall when it comes back to life.

Highly not recommend this course. Don't understand why they expect people to pay $60 for play and $20 for golf cart.

The course is extremely poorly maintained. Not much grass on fairway. Tee box and greens are extremely poor. You can definitely find way better course at that price.

The golf course is way over priced for what u get the fairways are long and brown the greens are hard slow and half dead the bunkers were cement and had weeds growing out of them. The golf course was horrible managed the staff were rude and absolutely clueless. I booked this yesterday last minute and next time I would rather just not play at all then waste my time at that course. It cost $70 with a cart for 18 holes and isn’t even worth half of that.
