Banty's Roost Golf and Country Club - Blue/Red

Had a tee time for 1:44. Showed up for 1 to hit the range which was closed. The course was absolutely packed and we were told tee times were an hour behind. So from showing up at 1 pm we stood around for an hour and 45 minutes until they managed to get us out. And again I stress, we had a tee time, didn't just show up. There were 3 marshals smoking by the club house and not 1 on the actual course which had groups lined up at every tee. We tried asking for a 9 hole rate since we weren't going to be able to get the 18 in we planned on with the delay and were told it was the same price anyways. Ended up getting 14 holes played in 4 hours. One of my worst golf experiences.

There is too much water and snow...

My fault for playing in February. But for paying $38 I was expecting the course to have a better draining system. I went expecting it to be wet and have some snow but I was not expecting the greens to be as bad as they were. There was one hole that didn't even have a hole because I guess there was snow and ice covering it. A lot of holes the flag wasn't in so I couldn't see exactly where to shoot.

This was a first for Christmas Eve very windy but just getting out on the course was amazing, Only problem was it was a little overbooked and we had a threesome in front that should have been in the bowling alley not on a golf course

Terrible customer service when you commit to an on line rate and then charge $30 per rider for a cart!!!! Ridiculous and completely unacceptable
I will not be returning.

The course is a great one to play only if you get a deal. I wouldn't pay full price here. It was the final day of the season so a lot of the regular amenities were put away. The course was in decent condition.

We were disappointed in the friendliness of the staff and didn't like the fact that we had to leave our car keys with the staff when you rent a cart.
The course itself is in pretty good shape for this time of year.

It was a rainy day - course almost closed except for golf now players - pro shop was not trilled to have us out. Warned us to come into the club house if the rain came down harder. He really wanted to close the course and leave for the day. Not overly friendly pro staff. Just play and leave.

This is a great course, challenging and in amazing condition.

This course could be something if it were not for personnel and Management at the course. The attitude of Management is what I might expect at a private - pristine course (not acceptable, but could understand). This course is barely average yet the personnel countinue to have a chip on their shoulders and it's getting worse over the years. Issue is they take no accountability - and prefer to defend their position. This day the course severely over booked and had no ranger on the course. What made it worse is they were bleeding their sprinkler system which in one instance, i was almost standing on top of and nearly took out my ear drum (not to mention a near heart attack). When calling in to complain, i was advised they do this ever year? Hello?! Do this after hours and not on my dime. This course needs some structure, organization and professional-customer facing personnel in the pro shop with the ability to better deal with customer grievances.

The staff were friendly and in good condition is very good and even course golf course.

First of all , I would like say about them.
unfriendliness, haughtiness and arrogance attitude, un-sincerity.

Course was in great shape and provided some natural challenges. Plays well from the blue tees. Pace was very slow as it seemed to be overbooked for a holiday Monday.

This is not the first time that I was made to wait more than half an hour beyond my tee off time. The staff were pretty rude. I wish they do not overbook and play havoc on people's schedules. My buddy had to leave without finishing his round.

Although I expected Thanksgiving Day to be busy at all golf courses I didn't expect a half hour to fourty five minute delay for T-off. A three foursome wait at each hole turned all of us off and I witnessed a lot of angry people wanting their money back. Six and a half hours for 18 is terrible! The course was also pumping out their sprinkler system on the greens which was excessively noisey, not to mention soaking the players.... The course was lovely but the greediness turned me off

we showed up for our 12 tee off time and witnessed a zoo at the club house. People were complaining about wait times.....we went in to pay and get our cart... they all chuckled that they were running about 45 minutes behind schedule but I was welcome to go buy a lunch and wait....I asked why book a tee off time if it wasn't honored they said they were still working on 11 am tee times at 11:40 when I was there....told me to come back at 12 and they will see. at 12 went back in they called me a liar for coming back at 12 and to go wait. at 12:10 they came out and yelled , do we have any twosomes ready to golf...I happened to be right beside him so we were lucky , I thought. they paired us with a twosome that had a 12:08pm who said they showed up and got right on.....no big deal we headed to #1 Blues and when we got there we joined 5 over foursomes waiting to golf.....Brutal people in the first group had been waiting 45 minutes for their start.....my playing partner bailed with the other twosome and got a refund.... I noticed the next group off had only 3 so I joined them.......halfway through the round the maintenance crew decided they were going to start blowing out their sprinkler lines for the winter so we were constantly being blasted with loud air noises. It was real obvious that the owner / manager only cared about making as much money as possible that day. worse customer service/ clubhouse interaction I have ever had golfing.....But on a good not the Jays won

The pro shop staff are a nightmare to deal with, tee times were back up from hole 1 which lead to having to leave at the turn due to a 4 group pile up on our #10. The service staff were the only good part of the course as they were friendly both on the course and in the club house. If you have time for a 6 hour round on a weekend, I may recommend...

Overpriced for relatively moderate course...greens little shaggy but kept well.

If you want to have a good time in this golf course, you may need to think about the way to book carefully. The owner looks very unhappy the players from golfnow.com. The staff was very rude. Very disappointed.
