Not even good enough for a cow pasture
Other than the greens being”green” everything else is as dry as hay. All the fairways are yellow and hard as concrete. There are holes not spaced properly. You actually tee off parallel to the driveway you need to watch for incoming cars and some holes you need to be careful for oncoming golfers as well. Blue number 1 has a huge willow tree right in front of the blue tees!
Absolutely terrible course and conditions! At least the staff are nice and the beverages were cold. That’s it.
Understandably, most golfers are unaware of the significant challenges we face during severe weather periods. It has been over 30 days since we received our last considerable rain, and the previous three weeks have been full of days exceeding 32 degrees Celsius. Even worse, New Environmental Standards limit us to water only essential areas like tees and greens. Ultimately, the lack of water and extreme heat significantly stress the turf, making it yellow and hard. Without the help of nature, we cannot provide a wall-to-wall green Course.
It is also unfortunate that many golfers forget how we are addressing customer expectations over conditions. As of Saturday, August 28th, we started applying a 25% discount to everyone's green fee--something we will continue to use through September 10th. Regardless if you pay online or at reception, our pricing is adjusted. Our family business prides itself on being proactive and fair.
Thankfully last night (Saturday, August 28th), we received a significant amount of rain. With a few more showers, the turf will recover quickly. However, until our turf recovers, we kindly ask everyone to continue doing the Rain Dance for us! It worked yesterday, and I am confident that it will work again.

So disappointed - very poor condition
We started from The Blue Course first, first time on this course, no grass, very dusty when you drive. Some tee has no grass at all. All the course looks yellow, noooooo grass. The Red Course is slightly better, but you smelled animal farm in quite a few holes. Never played any golf course like this. Totally no green color. Other than the greens. They should feel ashamed on their poor condition and close the course for a period to do more maintenance.
Unfortunately, recent prolonged periods of extreme heat and lack of rain have presented significant challenges for our maintenance department. In addition, new regulations from the Ministry of Environment directly affect the amount of water we can apply to the Course in non-essential areas. While one might assume that we have free access to water, the reality is that we do not. Yellow areas like the rough are not considered essential; therefore, they will become dormant where we cannot apply water.
Regrettably, the heat and water restrictions all affect the traditional cosmetics of our Course. So, as much as we are committed to providing you with a "traditional looking golf course," the "new responsible environmental reality" looks quite different. Still, areas like our greens and tees, where we can apply water, remain exceptional. Hopefully, we will see some rain very soon, and you will notice the lush green turf throughout.

Course was a pretty good shape, staff knew what they were doing, pace of play was excellent.

Please accept my sincere apology for your bad experience at our family golf club. There is no excuse for slow play. I appreciate the frustration you must felt playing behind new golfers--mainly since they are unaware that they should invite faster groups to play through.
This season, we have undertaken many programs to help mentor new golfers and restructure our tee sheet to add space between groups. Unfortunately, your round did not highlight the benefit of these changes. I copied this response to our staff to review our on-course management systems. Your experience highlights a need for us to be more active with coordinating faster groups through developing players.

Great Pace
For a Saturday afternoon great pace and great conditions. 4some and finished 18 in 4 hrs. Staff always so friendly and outgoing . This is the best course in the area for the price and course quality. Greens are always in good shape. Thanks again for another great round of golf.

Nice course
It’s a nice corse, could use some more signage to help direct to next holes and there are three 9s and a little close together. Paste was a ok but might have been the age group of golfers during this time. Had some challenging holes in blue and red.

My fiend and I were paired up with a second pair(much younger)and we found the round very enjoyable. The course was in excellent condition and the company was very goo, lots of laughing.
