Golfer Reviews
Boring Golf Course
This has 27 holes - White, Blue Red.
THEY DECIDE which front and back nine you will play, no matter what day/time you book your tee time.
They will steal you money.
Slow pace of play course, not the nicest course, expensive all around. If there’s any weather, they will steal your money. Tried to play. It was a monsoon coming down outside and we didn’t get a sent back. Played this course multiple times before. It’s always slow. You’re always weighing on your tee boxes. No marshmallows ever come around, so no one will ever tell people to hurry up and they just take your money. So if you wanna be robbed, just go here
Great course
Been to a few this year
By far, this one’s taken care of
Marshalls are great
Must go to at least once a year
This place needs a cash injection
Stupid layout very confusing start. The starter is grumpy a.f. Beverage cart only got to us once. They are leaving money on the table. We would have easly bought three rounds. The food hut is cheap hotdogs hamburgers etc. No real restaurant.
I'll avoid this place going forward.
Tee boxes need serious help!!!
The course is improving. Some tee boxes are horrendous and very hard to get your tee into the ground. So just hitting with no tee is an option. They need to get their indoor setup finished so people can cool off after a round and have a drink.
Expensive
Arts are for $50 for two , all were dirty and filthy. Got my hand sticky off steering wheel and all my club grips got sticky , had to wash all my club . No beer cart service on hot day with course fully busy . Powercarts are outdated and noisy not worth paying $50 . Better walk .
Nice greens, fairways nice but slightly dry
The pace was very tight starting off (45 mins behind schedule), When we got to the back nine is was not an issue. The course conditions were pretty good, but in a few spots the fairway was dry. But just in a few spots. 75% - 80% was lush.
Not accommodating
I went with my 6 year old they charged me full price for him and the manger that day wasn't being very pleasant when asked why he had to pay full price even though he only hit one ball a hole he was rude about it.
Lost my ID (UNBELIEVABLE)
Course is fine. Good value for your $. But they have instituted a new policy that you have to leave ID as a deposit for getting a key to ride a cart during your round. I forgot to go back and collect my driver’s license and when I went back the next day to get it, they unbelievably could not find it. They think they may have given it to someone else by accident. And no one seemed to concerned that they have lost my legal identification and exposed myself to possible identity theft. All I got was a promise we will look and give you a call back. That’s the last time I ever play at this joke of a course. Complete joke of a staff.
Customer appreciation
I was unable to play the second nine as I was having troubling symptoms from excessive heat exposure. - no player assistants around and no water on course. I made it back to club house Person in charge refused my request for a ‘rain check’ for nine holes as I couldn’t safely continue to play - outdoor temperatures with high humidity was about 36 as I was making the turn and I was walking . I play at that course regularly
Good value golf that is close by.
Good value and course is in good shape as well.
Staff are courteous.
Price gouging
I’ve been golfing here for 25 years, my mates and I play 9 holes after work once per week and bantys has always been our go to course. 5 years ago, twilight golf on weekdays was $30/ 9 hole with a cart. Yesterday I paid $52 for 9 holes and came to find a charge of $18 per player for the cart. $70 for nine holes is ridiculous. It’s obvious price gouging now that mayfield (neighbour course) has closed. Will never be back here. So sad that the owners of bantys have let their greed drive me away.
