Decent length, and not much challenge or variety. Deceptively hilly - up and down on blue course can be draining in heat if you' re walking. Some holes are layed out interestingly ie not next to one another with long distances between. But a satisfying round nonetheless.

Excellent staff.
Staff is very cooperative. I reached course about half an hour early. They were nice enough to let me play early.

Still lots of clumpy grass areas... still catching up from the wet weather, so wet spots, greens in good condition, fairways ok... pace of play a little slow.

Friendly staff, challenging layout. It is almost impossible to find balls if you don't stay on the fairways.

Nice course
Booked my time prepaid on Golf Now but the time wasn't showing as booked at the course. Fortunately my Golf Now account clearly showed the time was booked and I had paid for the round. It's annoying to get to the course and somehow my reservation isnt showing in the Mayfield system.

Fun Golf Course
Staff are fantastic. Everyone extremely courteous and helpful.
Deep rough made even deeper because wet weather is hampering cutting crew.
Greens and fairways are very good for a public course at reasonable green fee rates.

Tee off times are not properly spread apart
I don't think I've ever played this course without having to wait on practically every hole. Some of the patrons are ridiculously slow even when they see that they're holding everyone up.
I wish the Starter would space the tee-offs because it would probably solve this problem. I was not happy today.
I won't golf here again unless I have no other choice.
This spring has been particularly challenging for Mayfield. Excessive rain has led to problems cutting grass, and restricted power cart to the paths--both are a significant reason why play has been slow. Still, I recognize your point regarding slow play: this problem stretches beyond this spring. I would be remiss, therefore, not to personally address this issue. Slow play frustrates everyone, and I do not want to lose customers.
This past winter, I started work on restructuring Mayfield. My goal was to allocate more staff to coordinate play on course. Furthermore, we changed our tee sheet system to give us a greater ability to adjust tee time intervals. Rather than give you a lengthy list of actions currently underway, I invite you to meet with me. I will gladly treat you to lunch and show you how we are genuinely working to address your concerns.
