Brookfield Country Club - Red

The course was quite short, but the grounds were very well maintained and it was an enjoyable afternoon. The staff was very friendly. since i was by myself most people let me play through and I completed the short course very quickly 80 minutes.

I found this course to be in great shape . The greens were quite fair and smooth rolling . We played with friends and found the pace to be near perfect .

ice pace till we got behind a 3-some of slow female players. The last 9 seemed to take forever. Guess it was just bad timing, because it's usually quicker.

Very nice place. Not a long course, but a fun course. Well groomed from tee to green, without much trouble. Greens were excellent. Still quick after the overnight rain and rolled smoothly on every hole. Haven't played the blue course yet so it may be more difficult. I will definitely be back to try the blue, and I recommend both the gold and red 9's. A few potentially drivable par 4's for the longer hitters too, which is fun.

We had a great round on an amazing course. Challenging greens and pin placements made you have to work for it. If you slice or hook then this is the place to be. Very forgiving with wide open fairways to recover from.
Put this course on your list of places to play. If you have played Beavedale across the road, you need to stop it and play the quality course on the other side.

Staff here is very friendly and personable. What i didn t like was there wad no beverage cart and it would have better if we were informed of this before we started play so we could have brought some with us and also the greens were not in very good shape at all.

Played this course for probably the 20th time in my life. Check in was smooth and easy. Starter accommodated a request we had and we were off. Conditions were very good (lots of rain lately). We were a twosome and yet didn't have to wait more than once or twice for more than a few minutes to hit our next shots. Overall this is a very simple, straightforward course that golfers of all skill levels can play.

Good value for price. Can play blue tees to add a bit if your handicap is below 16. Could trim a few more trees from the base along fairway edges to speed up play. Too many people looking for balls in low tree branches for balls just off edge of fairway. Most greens and fairways were in good shape. Terrain has some ups and downs to keep it interesting. Course is best for intermediate golfer wanting to play a "friendly" course as you won't have too many penalty strokes or lost balls.

Courses. We're very clean and in great shape. 18 holes moved quickly. Beautiful day golfing.

Course is in pretty good condition, nice to play, not too difficult. It was very busy, we followed a twosome (husband and wife) and they stood on the tee blocks every hole waiting for the twosome (husband and wife) tee off in front of them, then they followed. They wouldn't pair up to make a foursome. Called the Marshall, but nothing, the pace was a bit slow for us. Otherwise good day.

Little run down, tired, typical I golf north facilities. Nothing special. Not brutal Won't golf there again unless it's a $20 round.

Very busy day on Monday. Play midweek for quieter round. Marshalls did not seem to improve speed of play.

Course is in great shape.
The tee boxes need a little work though, Hard to tee off when alot of the tee boxes are uneven.

This is an ideal course for most average golfers. Bad news is some groups thin they are pros and argue and slow pace of play even after marshall tells them to speed up

Option of playing on 3 separate 9s is great variety

An unusually harsh winter has rendered this course in need of serious attention. Even at $32 all in with cart, it's still too much. Slow play and only 19 of 27 holes open to play.

Course is in horrible shape and pace of play is very very slow. Starter had no clue what was going on. You get what you pay for on this one... normally this course is way better than beaverdale but they have ruined this course.

Golfed 18 holes, but it was a mixture of holes from all three courses, because of the condition of the course, so that took away from the game.

The coarse has suffered from the hard winter we just went through. We were shuffled around on the 27 holes and ended up playing 19. At the Golf Now price it was ok but would not want to pay full price. I will return to this coarse later in the year to play it again once the greens are in better condition and all holes are open.

Played Brookfield for $25 with cart on Wed. Oct. 2.
It was a good deal. The course was in decent shape, however the greens on both the blue and gold 9s were rock hard and very inconsistent with their speeds. I found one to be fast and the next to be 'furry' and slow, making chipping and lag putting more of a challenge than necessary.
I don't think I will return any time soon, as there are similar type courses in the area that have much better greens (ie. Puslinch)
