Carlisle Golf and Country Club - North/East
About
Nestled in a small community just 10 minutes north of Burlington, Ontario, Carlisle Golf & Country Club offers a convenient and affordable golf. The club is open to the public but still offers the benefits of a private club with perfect conditions on all of the golf courses and a friendly, helpful staff.
The North Course is the longest of the three at 3,409 yards from the back tees. There is a fair amount of trees scattered throughout the golf course and the well manicured fairways are always in good condition.
The East Course is the shortest. At 3,179 yards from the back tees, Carlisle Golf & Country Club's East Course is not significantly shorter in length but it is easier than the other two courses. There are trees along the fairways and the manicured greens putt true. There are also several tee deck options to accommodate players of all skill levels.

Snow schmo...
We played Carlisle on Sun, was a nice day. Luckily I had a yellow ball in the bag, because there was still snow on the course under the trees, and just off the cart paths. Courae aas in good condition, considering what time of year it was.
The only reason I put poor for paceof play was the threesome in front of us. One, they were playing from the wrong tees and they were giving each other lessons on the tee block. Other than this it was a great day!!!!
Always a good game
All three nines are interesting and the course is kept in above average pay as you play condition. There are some hole conflicts between North and South. The staff are possibly the best around and can not do enough for you.
Very good for the occasional or new golfer. Not so much for the low handicapper.
Conditioning!
Nov.26th and 10C,a light breeze and nobody in front of us.Course in perfect shape without a leaf in sight. This place is a hidden gem especially for the time of year.
Cool Golf
Refusing to let the weather dictate when to golf, we played in the "heat of the day", teeing off at 11 a.m.
I appreciated the call from the course advising us of a potential frost delay.
The condition of the course was good for this time of year.
Only complaints: a few greens needed leaf blowing and the practice green was covered in geese droppings.
A great course for an average golfer
I'm not a great golfer, but I always enjoy Carlilse. It has its challenges, but it is very playable and is always in great shape.
Cost of Carts
We got a decent deal with Golf Now. It was a walking deal but we decided to ride. The cost of the cart was $17 each!!!
They made up some of the difference with a reduced golf now rate.
Tricky little course
Don't think big ..think accuracy....
Beautiful scenery...Nice atmosphere...
Bit of a treat
Great course. Would definitely play again.
Carlisle is a great intermediate course. The greens are well maintained, the bunkers are well place with fluffy sand, and the fairways and very nice. Staff aren't bad but could have been more outgoing and friendly.
Good for short game. Slow play
Most holes you get on in 2. Good for your short game. Very slow play & marshals didn't try to speed it up. Has back to back par 3 holes slowing down pace even more. Fairways in good condition but greens needed attention. Not good value for the price
Excellent as always
I've played this course with my company three years in a row for our annual tournament. The course is in excellent shape as always, weather was gorgeous after a night of rain, carts are very nice, staff is very friendly and they accommodated us quite well considering they had a juniors tournament running.
good experiance
nice day, good golf and ok viewes make this a great golf day
A good day
Not much water but there is good length to most par 4's
Excellent greens
This is a great course. Well-maintained. Do not need to drive ball. Best ever iron selections. Awesome greens, tricky breaks . Lots off different angles on approach with imagination.
Good good good
Good course quality, friendly staff great day
Thanks
Carlisle on a very hot day!
Carlisle is a great course and I have played it on many
occasions. This outing was made even more satisfying with the special deal offered by Golfnow.
As usual the course was in excellent condition and most interesting to play. We found the pace of play slow on this occasion with the round taking four hours to play.
This remains a course I continue to enjoy and look forward to playing here again.
Carlisle
Comfortable round of golf from the white tees for all higher handicappers.
Blue and black tees a challenge even for low handicaps.
Well maintained and run golf course .
Friendly and knowledgable staff.
always a good round
have played this course many times over many years its always in great shape staff are very pleasant would recommend to all levels of player
North & South July 19th
We played the North & South courses. Both 9's are fairly forgiving with some interesting and challenging holes. Staff in the Pro Shop were very friendly and the Starter was very helpful.
Good time
We got lucky with no one in front of or behind us. Friendly staff and course in good condition. Facility starting to show it's age, but nowhere as bad as Sreetsville Glen (a Kannef course also where we felt ripped off)
Will play Carlisle again with favourable deal.
