Nestled in a small community just 10 minutes north of Burlington, Ontario, Carlisle Golf & Country Club offers a convenient and affordable golf. The club is open to the public but still offers the benefits of a private club with perfect conditions on all of the golf courses and a friendly, helpful staff.

The North Course is the longest of the three at 3,409 yards from the back tees. There is a fair amount of trees scattered throughout the golf course and the well manicured fairways are always in good condition.

The East Course is the shortest. At 3,179 yards from the back tees, Carlisle Golf & Country Club's East Course is not significantly shorter in length but it is easier than the other two courses. There are trees along the fairways and the manicured greens putt true. There are also several tee deck options to accommodate players of all skill levels.

A pretty good day

Three and a half stars - overall pretty good really, except the greens needed rolling, and were bare in a number of spots. Plus the Canada Geese messing on the south course!!

Good condition for spring golf.

The course was in good condition, but there were still some unrepaired divots from last season. The greens were fairly slow, but I will attribute that to spring conditions. Overall, it was an enjoyable round.

The course was in good shape for early spring and the pace of play was great.

I really enjoyed this course, I am a 20 handicap and felt the course was challenging but not overly so. Good mix of long and short holes not a lot of danger, but good placement of traps to capter wayward shorts.

The greens were very poor.

we were disappointed in the quality of the greens - uneven and inconsistent. Otherwise it is a great course. Good staff - very friendly and helpful.

Good challange for a wide range of handicapers

Considering N that we played in mid November the course was in good shape. The staff were friendly and helpful . The North course is quite tight and demands accuracy while the South is a little more open but has several holes that you have to carry over water.

well maintained course

The course has three nines. The most challenging is the North, next is the South, with the East playing the friendliest. I enjoy the North, South combo the most. It's mostly tree lined, with some out of bounds fences along the way. It obviously requires a straight game, especially from the blues. There are plenty of bunkers to get your attention and the greens can be quite tricky depending on the pin placements. Overall a very nice track.

Now I remember why I haven't played here in over 10 years.

This course was severely over booked, it took almost 3 1/2 hours just to play 9 holes. The tee boxes a placed at precisely at the spot where an errant tee shot would land. This course is dangerous. I will never play this course again.

Needs some work

Some tee areas in bad shape/greens very nice to putt on/sand traps are the worst i have seen. Traps have rocks galore so we don't play out of them for fear of damaging a club.

Which course did you play? South/North/East? Would appreciate knowing which course provided the extra danger of rock traps. I have played the South/North combination 6 different occasions and not experienced that. I would have protested to management. At least it is not as awful as Turtle Creek! Now that is a course that should be avoided at all cost if you have any semblance of golf appreciation.

Very good course that is challenging and well maintained .

Early tee time at the course. Everything was ready to go and staff were cheerful and helpful. Course was well maintained. At a level reserved for private clubs. Played with clublink member who commented how well cared for the course was. Pin placements were a challenge. Ranger came by several times to check if we were enjoying ourselves and if pace of play was "okay". Good round. Nice range and putting area. Worth a try if you are in the area. The course has three course combinations. I preferred the South/North course, but have found the East course to be just a enjoyable as the others.
