Carlisle Golf and Country Club - North/East
About
Nestled in a small community just 10 minutes north of Burlington, Ontario, Carlisle Golf & Country Club offers a convenient and affordable golf. The club is open to the public but still offers the benefits of a private club with perfect conditions on all of the golf courses and a friendly, helpful staff.
The North Course is the longest of the three at 3,409 yards from the back tees. There is a fair amount of trees scattered throughout the golf course and the well manicured fairways are always in good condition.
The East Course is the shortest. At 3,179 yards from the back tees, Carlisle Golf & Country Club's East Course is not significantly shorter in length but it is easier than the other two courses. There are trees along the fairways and the manicured greens putt true. There are also several tee deck options to accommodate players of all skill levels.

Good deal
Played North/South this time.
Course in good shape and no pace issues.
Most of the ball washers didn't have water in them.
Course isn't bad. Two holes that were goofy. Pace is play was bad on the front when you have guys hitting 3 tee shots everg hole. Holding up pace. Staff didn't know what they were talking about when I called in when the course was getting backed up. Luckily we changed the back 9 and flew through the course.
Fun open course
Great layout. Some challenging holes. Nothing too crazy. Except for holes I believe 6 and 7 on north course. Those can be daunting from the blues!
Great time. 4 hour round. Most times it is faster.
Hot Summer Day
Tee sheet was wide open. Set our own pace. Tuesday end of July
Oh, the humidity!
Pace of play for weekend golf was normal... somewhat slow. Conditions were average as it appears the course is depending a little on the rain clouds for their watering system. But we have had a lot of VERY HOT & humid days, this day being one of them. The staff is always friendly. The playing partner I joined with is very nice and she made the round more enjoyable.
Good course good value
Pace of play was a little slow but overall very nice course
Like the layout
Beautiful evening to golf. Played with 3 younger players. They wanted to play off the blue tees me being a senior, I preferred the senior tees. But, I played off the blue tees anyway. Very challenging for me to get to the green in regulation. But I enjoyed the comratere.
Nice Day
I don't usually throw around excellent ratings, but this was a good day. The pace of play was really good at 3 hrs, 50 min. The course was in great shape, the staff were quite friendly, and $87 w/cart, tax & fees in is a good deal. The 3 people I joined were also a pleasure to play with. There are not many courses with reasonable green fees since the pandemic, but this is one of them when they have deals. Other area courses don't have deals anymore.
Water Hazard Bunkers
What’s amazing is that every bunker had a pond in it, yet nothing is ever done to accommodate the rates for things like this.
Spend some money on the drainage of those bunkers as we know there are quality products available to courses to do so. French Drain Man on You Tube has the best weeper on the market for example.
