Pickering Glen Golf Club

Played on a warmish day in the afternoon with my son and two new friends, Joe and Gary. Had a great round, lost no balls and hit my handicap.

Greens were consistent and in great shape. Rough was manageably cut and playable. I would have given amenities a 5 but no cart person for on course beverages.

This course is fifteen minutes from my home and I will be playing it more often.

A very enjoyable experience.

Today’s weather is good n we two paired up with another two nice players but the pace is acceptable n can finish a little over four hours. Probably the Marshall is doing a good job as always see him around the course. Check in was super quick n staffs are friendly and polite. The course is in very good condition n rough cut short making it easier to locate the ball n quicken the pace. Fairways n greens are all in good shape. No complaints. Beverage cart is also always around which is good in this hot weather. It is not a long course n not too difficult so enjoy it.

Nice course with nice people running it. Good conditions and some very interesting holes. Only thing that was lacking is a driving range. Overall a great day.

Staff are friendly and very helpful. Unfortunately, major issue with slow play. It took 2.5 hours to play 9 holes. Only saw the Marshal once.

Poor indication from hole to hole amuse to the course is under construction.

Either you’re waiting forever to hit your next shot or rushing because the next groupings are less than 9 mins behind you. One poorly managed group and everyone behind them waits.

Had a fivesome in front of us, and the course took one of them and added them to our pairing, which was fine. The group in front was so slow and didn’t care. So much so that their fifth who joined us, just up and left. There was a Marshall that seemed more concerned with our pairings pace than this group.

Course was in great shape, especially given the storms that had passed through a few days before.

10 mins between tee times is tight.

The course is in good condition considering it is just early spring. Both fairways n greens are well maintained and the greens are pretty fast. Not many players yet so pace was good and can finish within four hours. Check in was quick and staff very polite and friendly. Weather also very cooperative and today is a good time to enjoy the outdoor.

Had not played this course in 15 years but loved it. Enjoyed the day
