Very busy. Tee time shifted by 30 minutes
We had the tee time at 3:12. But couldn’t tee off until 3:45. They over booked it. Pace was slow, we could only plat 13 holes until it was too dark to play.
A Perfect Day with Family and Friends
I brought along my family and friends, most of whom were new to the game, to play one of my favourite courses in the city.
We were a group of six, and even though it was a busy day at the Upper course, the manager and starter went above and beyond by letting us play the Valley course as two groups of three.
That thoughtful gesture made our day so much more enjoyable!
The course conditions were excellent, the pace of play was perfect, and the atmosphere was welcoming throughout.
Everyone we met was so friendly and made us feel right at home — truly a first-class experience.
Customer service
Customer service at pro shop is not good. Very slow pace of play. I lost my prescription glasses in a black case. Nobody turn them in. Tee box are so hard , got a hard time putting tees like needs a hammer. Fairways are bad.
Golf
Good course. Friendly staff. Close to city and good value
Unfriendly pro shop staff
I played this course and it started off with a very unfriendly and unwelcoming pro shop staff member checking me in. Their range is closed permanently, so don't expect a range. The pace of play was pretty slow, but it was a very nice day outside so lots of people were golfing. I've been playing multiple public courses around the Toronto area and would likely not return to play here again. The course is in decent shape for what you would expect at the public course.
It was alright
The experience was satisfactory, and I had a pleasant time playing with friends. The only minor drawback was the rather slow pace.
Fave course
Always nice to play at the upper course, greens are in perfect shape just need to improve the fairway a little bit
otherwise it's good
Valley Course Remington Parkview
Course in good condition. 5 hour round. No marshals on course to speed up play

🏌️♂️⛳️ Remington Parkview – Where Trees Give Mulligans and the Greens Read You Back 🎯
Shot a miraculous 77 today at Remington Parkview. Yes, 77. I checked my scorecard twice. Then my soul. Both confirmed—no cheating involved, just miracles and mild tree sorcery.
Played with a legendary Korean father-son duo. The father? 76 years old. But he wasn’t playing senior golf. He was playing soul golf. Guy’s swing was smoother than a K-drama love confession. Tempo like classical music. He didn’t talk much, but when he did, it was wisdom like, “Don’t aim at the flag. Let the flag find you.” 💥💡 I still don’t know what it means, but I birdied the next hole so I believe him.
The course? Mint. Fairways were like shaved velvet. Greens were so pure, if you read the line right, it’s like the ball said, “I got you, boss,” and dove right in. No wobble. No drama. Just pure commitment.
Now, listen—I had two shots that hit trees so hard the squirrels had to file insurance claims. But instead of bouncing into the woods (like every other time in my life), they rebounded back onto the fairway. One even landed dead center. I swear the tree whispered, “We got you today.” Either Remington is haunted by the spirit of Bobby Jones, or the course finally decided it owed me a couple favors.
Highlight of the day? A two-boy teenage Zoom squad in front of us. Walked faster than a DoorDash driver on triple tip. Every time I blinked, they were already teeing off on the next hole. I tried to catch up, but my legs said, “You’re 40, not Fast & Furious.”
Remington was in perfect shape today. Honestly, it felt like a country club that accidentally left the gates open for public play. Greens rolled like tournament Sunday, views were gorgeous, and not one goose chased me this time—which counts as spiritual progress.
So here’s to Remington Parkview:
Where trees give second chances,
old men outplay your ego,
and the greens know your soul.
Until next time. 🫡
(And I will hit under 75 one day. Probably with the help of three more trees.)
Decent for the cheap price
I played this course as a hot deal. It was packed on a weekday and pace of play was slow. But the greens and fairways were in pretty good shape and the green fees are affordable. It was a pretty uninteresting course - holes were generic and didn't have many interesting features.
