Not as good as before
It is still a good course but some fairway condition not as good. Greens ok and some potion of car paths needed repair n touch up. Tee platforms were below par. Lots of contour n undulations so not easy to play and greens also quite tricky. Autumn view is pretty good so another way to enjoy.

Finished a round of 18 in 2.5 hours. Helped that no one else was really on the course but fantastic course for the price.

Cherry Downs is a beautiful well designed , mature course.
The staff are friendly and willing to address any issues. The location is good, and the pace of play is always within reason.

my game at Cherry
lots of rowdy groups with holes close together. very few with etiquette on shared tees. a ton of weekend warriors and hacks. no marshall’s. challenging course but no longer a place to enjoy a semi-serious round as a better player. didn’t love the vibe.
