Cherry Downs Golf and Country Club

The course has recently aerated the greens hence the speed noticeably slowed down. Need a couple of holes to get used to. Otherwise everything is just great.

Great track. Fast greens (#5, 9, 15 & 18 are slanted skating ring greens). Yet love it because CD demands the best of any golfers. True test of skills, patience and mental fortitude.

With increasing frequency I am forced to have my enjoyable round polluted by someone's music blaring across the course. Politely asking them to turn it down results in a rude reply. I wish the course, which is lovely to play, prohibited music. But, at least marshal the course and get them to turn the volume down. We (those choosing not to play music) should not hear tunes two or three holes away.

it's hard to get good score, as the greens are difficult to read but the weather was good, had lots of fun.

For a Club Links course I was expecting a little better course conditions. The tee boxes were in terrible conditions, but the greens were in excellent condition. No one was filling in their divots on the fairways and the place of play was way too quick. We finished in 3hrs and 15 mins (always felt rushed).
