Cherry Downs Golf and Country Club

Course is still in good condition but the car path really need to do some maintenance work. Also need to set up clearer hole direction sign to avoid delay. Other than that, the fairways, greens n bunkers are good. The power cart fee of $30.50 per person may be a reason to scare off players, probably the most expensive in GTA and so not likely to play this course often and not recommend to senior players.

Course was really nice, well groomed and soft fairways. My only criticism was that the staff were drenching the tee boxes and approach areas too much. There were so many puddles and our feet were soaked most of the round, which was unnecessary as tee boxes shouldn’t be puddles of water. Decent value, pro shop opened late….

Upon arrival, marshal was happy to say pace was fantastic. 4:20 minutes average. I was quite pleased to hear. I booked as a single and was teamed up with three other golfers but only 2 bags of clubs. This caused a major delay due to having to wait for players shooting, sharing or dri ing away with clubs. Anyone playing should have to have their own clubs at very least to prevent time loss per round. We ended up playing 5 hour round and I sped up to the point it was becoming un enjoyable. Other than.that, course was awesome and will likely play again.

Well groomed greens and fairways. Some areas were super soaked including tee boxes and areas right before the green. Why are you soaking these areas while people are playing. We were teeing off in puddles.

Love cherry downs. Second time playing this course. Love the layout and the staff is super friendly and helpful. Will play this course atleast twice a year until I'm unable to to golf anymore haha

The green fees at Cherry Downs were fine but the $60 shared cart was too expensive, pushing the course towards unaffordability for my fixed income retired friends. Sad.
