A must play course
Great course and friendly staff. Starter at the first tee and made a couple rounds as we played our game. Thought needs to go into your shots on some of the challenging holes. Can't wait to try again.
Tough greens
We enjoy playing woodland. It is a good test. Large undulating greens prove to be the most difficult part of the round.
Staff always friendly and nice patio areas to enjoy a beer after the round.
Like a well struck shot, the wonderful potential of Woodlands keeps me coming back for more
Awesome layout with the exception of a handful of trees on a handful of holes. Smart tee shots are rewarded with clear looks at smooth, receptive greens. Fairways can be a bit dry in spots which requires creativity to hit an ideal shot; a treat to play after rains when things soften up. Definitely have to learn the course as there are some blind shots that can really add strokes to your round if you end up out of position. Greens roll true and tee decks are mostly secluded although some green/tee complexes could use opening up/clearing away underbrush to aid with airflow and thus turf quality. Get this on a HotDeal for $35-40 with cart and you’ll have a great day on the course
