Pine Knot Golf and Country Club

I have made this my "Go to" course in the London, Ontario area.

It is only a 15 minute drive from my house, and I choose this over all of the other courses in and around our area. The prices are great considering how well kept the course is.

I always enjoy my time at Pine Knott, even if I have a rough round....

The staff is very friendly, from the pro shop to the starter to the beer cart staff.

Always a great experience at Pine Knott.

Green, fairways, rough and even the water all look great for April golf!

Friendly staff, wish hole layout was on back of scorecard but the new ones with green pitches will do.

For the end of April, this course has July conditions: fast smooth greens & lush dry fairways. Although the course was busy, pace of play was good - very little waiting. Staff were very friendly and visible. Would highly recommend this course.

Golf course was excellent, only complains was they overbook so the wait time was quite significant. We did order dinner on the 18th tee and still waited 20

Minutes after sitting.

I am never disappointed playing here.

Greens were so good to play on they look immaculate, and its April. They say it will only get better! WOW! This course is blessed with the best drainage around and a wonderful staff.

They have launched a new menu to boot! The buffalo chicken sandwich might be my new favourite...Got to try all items to make sure.... ;)

Makes me wonder, why play anywhere else?

Really enjoyed playing Pine Knot. Entire course was in great condition. Good course for all levels of golfers. Good course. for ladies as well. Very nice layout. Good practice area

The course is in great shape, challenging greens and fair. The staff, starters, pro and everyone working at pine knot are very friendly and professional. Love golfing there!!

The course was in great condition, the green speeds were consistant, there is a variety of tees for different skill levels and ages.

The course is walkable. Not an easy play but forgiving. Two par threes and a par four require a carry over water 3, 4,16. Have always enjoyed playing there. The club house is well equipped and dining is a must.

The course was in great shape, greens a little furry and inconsistent, over better than expected. Short course (under 6000 yards) it make up for it by challenging you to hit odd distance approach shots.. My only legitimate complaint was pace of play, there was a tournament set to start an hour after my tee time so they were trying to cram in a bunch of rounds before. No Marshall, no one to pair groups together to speed up play. Besides the greens being a little furry and inconsistent, it was better than expected.

Great deal from Golf Now, staff are great,courses in very good condition, greens were awesome, I always enjoy coming back here.

Was a nice course to play while out of town.. When I'm back in the area I will play it again for sure..

Got a Golfnow deal. Was a fantastic deal for the quality of course. Greens and fairways were in great shape considering how hot and dry this season has been. Although course is short, it is very challenging from the blue tee box. Some narrow chutes to navigate. We moved up to the gold tee's on the back nine.

Amazing day! I don't know how the fairways are like carpets and the greens are true and fast when we have had no rain.

I wont waste my time or money golfing anywhere else.

Beef dip was delicious after and drinks were cold and served with a smile. Great to sit out on the patio and enjoy the view.

Proshop staff was very welcoming. I appreciate that.

NO MARSHALL!

Followed a pair of golfers who played at a snails pace & wouldn't let us(3 golfers) play through.

They hit as many as 4 balls off the tee,dilly dallied as if they owned the course and turned a great round of golf into a frustrating experience.Saw a marshall as we loaded our clubs onto carts but no martial on the course to insure reasonable pace of play.

Nice trek, greens roll well. Par 3's all the same length.

Narrow fairways and acute doglegs make shot selection on this course very important. The greens were very fast but consistent which made them a great challenge. Tee blocks were excellent. Rough was very dry but considering how dry it's been I wouldn't hold it against them. My one criticism would be that the two greenside bunkers I landed in were packed down and hard which made a splash shot very difficult. Staff were very accommodating and friendly despite the whole course being backed up due to a senior league/tournament.

Put some water on the course guys! I have recently played other courses in the London area for less money that are in much better condition.

Also dig out your bunkers and put some sand in them. They look ok at first but under the 1/2" of sand, they're hard as a rock. A normal bunker swing results in the ball screaming over the green 50 - 80 yards away.

You guys claim to be one of the elite courses in the London area but the condition of the course and the inflated price makes Pine Knot fall short of many other courses that charge less.
