About
Located only minutes away from downtown Hamilton and offering a spectacular view of the city, the Chedoke Golf Club features two 18-hole championship golf courses. Nestled under the Niagara Escarpment, the Beddoe Course, a Stanley Thompson design, is a wonderfully scenic, challenging and demanding. It plays 6,084 yards from the championship tees.

Beddoe in 2022
nice round. some interesting holes. could be better between hole signage.
Very noisy
5 or 6 of the holes were near or beside the very busyhighway (403) and were a big distraction with the very loud noise from passing traffic. Especially the many large trucks.
There were also a couple of holes near a factory that was also had very loud equipment going all of the time.
I would be very reluctant to play the Beddoe course again
What is with the first cut ruff?
I will never book to play this municipal course again. The first cut ruff is too thick. You can never see your balls. Waste too much time looking for your shots.
Great Day
Very friendly staff course in great condition. Pleasantly surprised at pace of play as several walkers ahead of us.
Unfortunately the fairways and rough hadn’t been cut regularly (due to the weather) and I lost 3 balls just off the fairway. You had to almost walk on your ball on several holes before you could see the ball. And for the record I play with a yellow ball. Tee boxes and greens were in good shape, just needed some good weather so the maintenance staff could do their magic. I’m
Terrible conditions
Weeds everywhere. Not worth the price even though it was cheap. They need to clean this place up.
Muni
Course itself was ok considering the time of year. Biggest issue was other players. It's a municipal track so you get what you get. Zero etiquette from other players. Ppl blaring music when teeing off.. 4some not letting a single (me) play through and not a marshall anywhere to be seen.

Course was in good shape, play was a little on the slow side. Some of the par 4 holes are very challenging.

Horrendous Condition
Fairways and rough were same length. Too long finding balls just off fairway, areas that were cut had days old clippings to forge through. Hopefully will improve and season gets on.
Awesome value
Unless you're gunning for the PGA, this course is perfect. $25 tee time, pace of play is super quick, the course is in good enough condition and the staff are great. What more can you ask for?
Wet April golf
For the time of year it was good. The 10th tee snack shop was closed, but restaurant was open. You can't control the weather, so the course was fine
Great Local Course
Beddoe is a solid course. I've always loved the variety of hole designs, the pace, and the challenge each hole presents. This course may feel a little long for new players, but each hole varies so much that it keeps it interesting. Friendly staff as well. Check it out.
