Located only minutes away from downtown Hamilton and offering a spectacular view of the city, the Chedoke Golf Club features two 18-hole championship golf courses. Nestled under the Niagara Escarpment, the Beddoe Course, a Stanley Thompson design, is a wonderfully scenic, challenging and demanding. It plays 6,084 yards from the championship tees.

Mostly good
Was very disappointed that there was no food other than snacks offered because there was a bit of rain.
Good value for money
There was a fair bit of garbage that we picked up as we played. Good value for money at this course. Front 9 is pretty easy and hard to lose a ball. Back nine is more challenging, more slope, more mature trees. Greens were soft but consistent throughout the course.
No beer or food
Was disappointed to learn that the course had no beer or hotdogs at the turn. No beer cart. They said they were looking for a vendor. Its June and you don’t have a vendor?!? Would have appreciated a heads up on this so we could have packed snacks at the very least. Played here a bunch in the past years but never had this issue.
Not Cheap Enough Unfortunately
There are times when Chedoke (Beddoe or Martin) are great value. Early in the year the course tends to still be in good shape and it’s a decent round at a discounted price.
Unfortunately that doesn’t seem to be the case this season. Green fees riding still come in around $80 for middle of a weekday with very dry conditions, brutal pace of play and no food and beverage component on the course.
I know it’s a municipal course but some effort or at least presence of Marshall’s would go a long way and they’ve got to get some food and beverage service sorted out too.
Downhill!!!
While there used to be a ski hill of sorts on this location, I never thought the course would take such a slide!
The city really has a lot to answer for. The course is in very poor condition and it’s very sad. Tee boxes, sand traps, etc….all poor. No halfway house to offer water in a very hot day.

Don’t waste your time with this app.
It will reserve a tee time on random dayss without your knowledge. Waste of time and money.
Okay for the money but could use some work
No sand in the traps. Cart paths were just dirt and exposed tree roots in several places. Fairways were good but starting to dry out. No amenities before or after round, there’s usually someone iworking the clubhouse or half way house?
No sale of food or drink on the coarse or in pro shops
enjoyable.... first time out
Got the season off to a start and played the Beddoe course. It was not busy so pace of play was great no waiting. Course was in good shape - fairways were nice but rough was a little high and the greens were a bit slow. Enjoyable round.
