Sandusk Golf Club

About
Located in scenic Haldimand County, Sandusk Golf Club's layout wraps around Jacob's Pond and snakes alongside Sandusk Creek. Naturally water comes into play on over half of the holes. The golf course is mostly flat with a few mild undulations, making it an enjoyable walk. It is also fairly wide open although there are some trees that might be troublesome. The player-friendly design is perfect for casual golfers and the extremely affordable rates make it even more appealing. In addition to the 18-hole course, Sandusk Golf Club also offers a unique par-6, 700-yard hole that has been nicknamed the 'Sandusk Monster Hole.' It is the only one of its kind in Ontario.

Terrible Course
We were so disappointed in this course. 1) the carts were terrible, old and would hardly run. 2) T boxes were not cut on most holes, hard to determine where they actually were. 3) The fairways were horrible, poor maintenance, and hard to figure out what was rough and and what was fairway. 4) cart paths were not maintained. 5)The greens were TERIIBLE! 6)Direction to next holes were not there on the majority of holes. 6)The clubhouse looks like its ready to fall down any day now. This course has so much potential to be something good however it needs so much. Someone who actually cares needs to come in with lots of money and do the repairs required. I will be letting all my golf buddies know about this disaster so they don't make the same mistake I did,
Horrible Owner and Conditions
We had an 8 am tee off and the course wasn't open u til 745. We phoned while waiting on the street to get in and encountered an angry man on the phone. When we were allowed in We had left a 1 star review for him based on the start of our day and the man working there. After he realized we left that review he co nronted us belligerently, kicked us off the course and refuse our money back. We should have read the bad reviews before booking 🙄
Nice layout
Course was interesting and not a bad layout. Condition of the course however was not good. Greens were slow, lots of dead patches on greens making the bumpy, dandelions growing on greens.
Very nice course, well laid out. Some very interesting holes. Will test your golf skills. Give them a try, I think you'll enjoy the course. Will play there again.
Grass like my backyard
Thick long grass. Appeared to be the same kind you would find in a lawn not a golf course. Fairway was the same as the rough. Saw 2 other groups playing the whole time. For good reason it was empty.
What a joke
You book on golfnow which is a great app but you get to the sandusk course and find out that only 9 holes are open 10 11 12 4 5 6 7 8 9
Why is it that golfnow doesn't know this, its the second time thisnhas happened at this course 4 weeks ago we booked on golfnow show up there and find out its closed due to water in the course. It would be great for notice as we drove 55 minutes to get there at 8 am. Called golfnow and got our money back but this time around nothing.
The course should let golfnow know of any changed to the deal we get not wait for us to get there and find out. As for the sandusk course don't waste your money on it not worth it. Clubhouse and course has look the same for over 5 years now.
Greens rotted out and cut to long, made them almost unplayable. Fairways were cut the same length as the rough. No directional signage to tell you how to move to the next hole.
Play your backyard instead (wouldn’t pay $10 to play)
I’ve never come across a worse course in my life. There are no fairways, greens are shaggy as well with massive bald patches. Should be considered a crime to charge $50+ to play this place. I wouldn’t pay $10 to play here again. Won’t be back.
