Sandusk Golf Club

About
Located in scenic Haldimand County, Sandusk Golf Club's layout wraps around Jacob's Pond and snakes alongside Sandusk Creek. Naturally water comes into play on over half of the holes. The golf course is mostly flat with a few mild undulations, making it an enjoyable walk. It is also fairly wide open although there are some trees that might be troublesome. The player-friendly design is perfect for casual golfers and the extremely affordable rates make it even more appealing. In addition to the 18-hole course, Sandusk Golf Club also offers a unique par-6, 700-yard hole that has been nicknamed the 'Sandusk Monster Hole.' It is the only one of its kind in Ontario.

It has grass
I try and find the positive in every situation, this is the only thing that comes to mind here. We paid to play 18, left after 9, had enough.
Should be a $25.00 course.
Fairways were shaggy, greens had bald patches, cans littered throughout course
Piece of crap
Joke of a course.....make a subdivision or back to a farm....maybe a nice zoo
Not worth what they charging
I expect a lot more out of a course that's just over 70 bucks per person. Greens were absolutely atrocious. There was no fairways. I would expect to pay well under 50 with cart at a course with this poor of conditions.
Not worth the money
Course was in very rough shape. Everything is dry and brown. Difficult to identify the fairways. Raised cups being used. Staff did not want us to use separate carts due Covid but did not have separators in the carts. There are other courses in better shape and cheaper in the area.
Wow,, Sandusk is a Great Golf Course
The price was very reasonable, the staff was courteous, the course was in great shape. Everyrhing a golfer could ask for to keep coming back!
Great course and excellent value
We downloaded the Free Phone App and it gave us GPS and scoring right on our phones. Pretty cool. We could track skins as well. Course was in good shape and greens were fast. Excellent value
Great Fall Golf
Great Fall Golf. Courses was in great shape and all the greens had been blown clear of leaves. Course was in great shape and people were friendly. Great price and beautiful layout. I can't wait until spring!
Great Course,
Great place to play golf. Course was in great shape, very challenging and we played 18 holes in 4 hours with no delays. Fast, tricky greens, no delays and a great price are the reasons we play here two or three times a month.
Excellent Value
This course has had extensive improvements over the last few years and is an excellent value. Great layout and quick greens make it very challenging. I love the third hole with the giant sloping green at the edge of Jacob's Pond. My foresome plays it a couple times a month and we do not get tired of it.
Course with an attitude.
For a par 70, this course will give you a good challenge. Some holes require accuracy or you'll get in trouble. Greens a little on the small side but all in all this is a course with an attitude.
Golf Girls Review
This course is in great shape and offers excellent value! Will play there a lot with my girlfriends this summer!
Great Course
I play with the same foresome every week at different courses in the area and this was the best experience we had for the year. The price was very reasonable and the course was in excellent condition. There was no wait time and we played in just under 4 hours in great weather. Will play much more frequently this year.
Nice Course
I was a little worries when we were the only car in the parking lot at 10:15 but the course was fun and the staff was great. I would definitely go back.
Nov golf
For November the course was no too bad the bridges were kind of scary and I was walking. The guy in the club house not a big fan of golf now it's not my problem and didn't need the lecture. Big fairways and smaller greens make it a bit if a challenge.
Save your time!!
When I pulled into the parking lot at just after 10am and saw 4 cars in it, I knew right away it was going to be bad. The tee boxes were terrible, the fairways full of weeds. Now the greens (if you could call them that) had less than 50% grass. They should be charging mini golf prices at best, we paid $35 each with a cart, and the cart was the best part!! Save your dough, and play a real course.
Very short.
Course needs lots of attention.Only played 9 holes wont be back again.
Friendly and forgiving course.
A par 70 open course, with few hazards, makes for a very forgiving round of golf. The course was wide open when I played, so there was no hold up in play. I played on Thursday afternoon. The holes themselves follow a peculiar layout, so keep your scorecard handy for the map.
Greens were hairy. Looked like they hadnt been maintained with bare patches on 16 of the 18 holes.
Guess which greens were in good shape?
Ya 9 and 18..
This course is fun to play
Well designed course with nice differences between straight, fades and draws which are ideal hits from the tees. The fairway are not not too narrow and our drives roll long on the fairways. This is why this it is a fun course to play and I did not lose any balls playing this course. But some of the greens do need more maintenance especially the ongoing damaged #17. Ideal course for new, high handicap and junior golfers.
you got hosed! This place isn't worth $30 with cart!!!
