Port Dover Golf Club

I have played this course a couple of times per year, and for many years now.

This was the slowest round I have ever played at this course.

We waited on EVERY hole and EVERY shot for the group in front of us, and they were a full hole behind the group in front of them.

Nothing was done about it, and after we fininished the front 9, we asked to play it again just so we could enjoy ourselves a little bit.

Well the starter was so arrogant and acted like he was doing US a favour, when there was about 5 open holes on the front.

He reluctantly accommodated us whilst dripping with attitude.

I also watched him interact with some young kids before their round started, and he was rude and snippy to them. A little authority has gone to his head.

He needs to understand who the paying customers are and that this isn't HIS course.

This is the first time I have been disappointed playing this golf course, and I have previously recommend it to many, many people

The gentleman in the clubhouse was friendly, the cart girl as well, but the starter and the pace of place were horrendous this day

I drive 1 hour one way to get to the course, I expect to be appreciated as a paying customer. As I have been up to now.

Been playing there for years nice track good challenge on alot of holes always well kept do u think they will ever fix the drive way lol 😆

The value of this course is excellent.

Clubhouse improvements are great but everything golf related has gone down.

Awful gravel cart paths. Bumpy fairways

The course is usually well maintained and in decent shape. The price is right for what you get here. It's ridiculous what the courses are charging. Looks like Golf is going back to be a rich man's sport around this area. It's the deals you get using golf now that help out to some extent.

Port Dover is trying to improve the golf course and it shows. tee decks were a big improvement but the entire course was really shaping up Bravo , definitely will come back

Pace was slow for the whole round. It took 4 1/2hrs to play. We waited on every tee as we watched the group in front of us tee off. Marshall questioned our driving ability as the twosome behind us complained our choice of tees being played. We weren't the cause of the slow play.

Marshall's should identify the problem group so they can inform unhappy people of the situation.

Port Dover was a nice start to the season yeah it was a little wet but expected this time of year. Greens were good fairways good super friendly staff made for a good day

Course is in really good shape for so close to the end of the season. Greats were great. Not too many leaves causing issues.
