Oak Gables Golf Club - Oak Course
About
The three nine-hole courses at Oak Gables Golf Club are each named after trees that can be found blanketing the gently rolling hills. Though the landscapes are similar, the Oak, Maple, and Pine Courses each manage to offer something a little different but they are all player friendly enough to be enjoyed by a wide range of skill levels. The Maple Course is touted as “the pride of Oak Gables,” but the Oak Course offers just as challenging a round. The golf course opens with its toughest hole, a lengthy par 5 that is routed around and over a large pond on the left. There is also a creek that cuts right across the fairway. The six par 3s are a unique feature of the layout, ranging in length from 125 yards up to 188. It’s a golf course that will test your skills in a variety of different ways.

Great for the senior game
A little hilly, plan on a cart if you tire easily. Nice conditions. Interesting layout. Some water to avoid and elevated greens make this interesting with some degree of difficulty. Check the card it is 3 nines of exec. length.
Oak-Gables
Considering the harsh winter we had this year, the staff has done a very good job at maintaining a playable course. There were some rough patches, but the fairways and greens were well maintained.
The course itself is a great course for beginners. There are very few hazzards and each hole is fairly straight-forward. It would be more fun if they hadn't gotten rid of the sand traps. They have been filled with grass. However, I would definitely recommend this course to others.
well maintained and good pace.
Would play this course again. It is excellent value for money. Well maintained and good scenery.
Oak Gables
The course was in very rough shape.took a ridiculous amount of time to play this very short course. However I have played this course in the past and the conditions were excellent. They need to spread out their tee times in order to fix log jams on every hole.
Good time
Course was still a little wet but that was to be expected this time of year. Only 1 temporary green. The other greens were dry and nice. Great start to the season.
Short course, wide open field, Not much challenge.
Got to golf course at 11.30 am. Course owner in pro shop, told me that since I booked through GolfNow, I would have to wait until my scheduled tee off time at 12.00 pm, even though no one was on the tee. Said if I wanted other tee off time I should book through the golf course.
Found course to be quite open, but still had trouble finding the next tee on a number of holes.
Each time I play this course I like it a little more.
Have played here a few times now and really enjoy the course. All I can say is that if you want a fast game in the weekday mornings or late afternoons that offers some challenge then give this course a try. It was quiet when I played and got through the round in 2hrs and 15min.
Great fall round!
We picked up a great hot deal ($17 including cart for 18) on this course, and decided to give it a shot. None of us are particularly fantastic golfers, 30+ handicaps all of us, so we figured it was a fantastic option. We had a bit of a frost delay in the morning, but once we got going, it was a great day. For fall golf (we golfed on Oct 20), the course was in pretty great condition. A little bit soggy from all the rain, but we had no complaints as we were fully expecting this. Greens were in great shape, and it was a fun round. A few moderately challenging holes, a lot of short par 3's, and not a lot of woods or long rough to lose balls in. It made for a decently fun day. I'd definitely go back.
Should be labelled as a Par 3 course.
Course is alright. It is well maintained which is nice. I definitely wont be returning though. Has 12 par 3 holes. Should be considered a par 3 course and should be a lot cheaper because of this.
short and sweet
great practice golf / a lot of par 3s .... different from big courses
Close location for a quick game.
Excellent price through golfnow. There was a tournament on the go so we could only play the same nine holes twice, however we chose to wait until the tourney was finished and then we continued on another nine. We had a great day with our teenagers.
would love to play the white course...
just to see what it has to offer. Got a great deal on hot deals and we were let through as we were a twosome so did not spend too much time waiting. Friendly area people and staff made for a pleasant afternoon
Very affortable and great savings
For $13.55 18 holes and a cart you cannot go wrong. The course is easy, a lot of par 3's.
Good beginners course
holes close together, needs better direction signs to holes
Course requires attention - some tees are poor as are fairways.
I was disaplointed that one nine was closed and on a second the greens had been dressed. The overall condition of the course was fair with several tees and fairways in poor shape.
Overall, this is an easy course and the hot deal was good value, but i would not recommend it at regular rates.
Beginner course
Even though it was a Sunday afternoon the pace of play was very slow. The fairways required cutting as they played like short rough. Only one hole of the nine we played had 150 & 100 yd markers. i find this to be very annoying having to guess club selection
Very Short But Well Maintained
Oak Gables Golf is a great Junior Education Facility.
course could use a little work--fairly wide open--but served our purpose for the day
I liked the efficiency of your booking system--nice to be able to peruse the course availability to see what suits the people who will golfing. My daughter was taking me golfing for my birthday so I wanted to choose a course that I felt was good for her and would fit her budget. She has not golfed often and didn't want to frustrate her with a difficult course.
Good course.
Its an executive course with 3 9 hole courses.
Beside getting semi lost and playing off an incorrect tee deck it was a good place to play.
Par 3 Course
This course was in decent shape, but is way overpriced for a $50 with cart course. 4 Par 3's in a row on the Oak course and 10 total par 3's over the 18 holes of Oak and Maple combined.
