Oak Gables Golf Club - Pine Course

About
Oak Gables Golf Club is home to three different nine-hole courses called Pine, Oak, and Maple. Named after the trees that are scattered throughout the landscape, each nine offers a different challenging layout. The Maple Course is often referred to as “the pride of Oak Gables,” but the Pine Course, which is the longest of the three, can be just as tough. The rolling terrain provides a multitude of uneven lies and you can also expect a few tricky blind shots. The most difficult par 3 is the 193-yard sixth, which plays uphill into the prevailing wind, but the toughest hole on the golf course is the par-4 eighth. An uneven lie in the fairway makes the approach shot even more daunting. In addition to the golf course, Oak Gables also has a full-length, all grass driving range as well as chipping and putting greens.

Poor greens,tee boxes and bridges
Overall course is in poor shape, greens, tee boxes and bridges in rough shape . Hazards all removed and filled which gives no challenge to the course .One bridge was completely out and one green was in middle of fairway. Half the greens were completely not puttable. Ok course for a short game
Its still golf
Poor course conditions especially the slow bumpy greens. Played in under 3 hours ( course is only 4200 yards for Pine and Oaks nines). Still fun with some sttrong hole designs. Par of 65 means lots of par 3's ranging from 116 yards to 192 yds.
ok
I mean, I know it's been raining, but other courses seemed to have better drainage systems. Puddles ankle deep with mud everywhere and still charging $30 a person is a bit absurd.
Greens are a disaster, but we still fixed what divots we made...which didn't make a difference at all.
Staff was off putting, no direction, no guidance, no greeting. Pretty shi overall, won't be back ever.
HORRIBLE.
This has to be the worst course I’ve ever played it is NOT worth the money at all. Fairways are long and patchy, rough is like it hasn’t been cut in months, and don’t get me started on their terrible greens. The staff are arrogant and stuck up walk around like they’re all that and talk down to you (like cmon you’re a middle aged man working at a golf course you aren’t much of anything). I booked 18 holes for 33 thought that was a nice price with it including a cart because if you read the information under the course it states “for golf and cart” when I showed up they tried to tell me it was walking. That course isn’t worth anywhere near 33 dollars with a cart let alone walking. I myself couldn’t handle how terrible and the amount of disrespect that was shown so I left after only 7 holes. DO NOT GO HERE UNLESS YOU LIKE TO PLAY TERRIBLE COURSES WHILE BEINF TREATED POORLY.
Rude Starter
The starter was extremely rude to my party. We had someone who has never golfed before and because of that played best ball. The starter approached us and told us we were too slow, even though we had to wait to tee off every hole due to the party in front of us. As a group of 4 female golfers it was disheartening, and 2 players didn’t feel comfortable playing anymore due to starters back hand comments which was out of our control. We even had the party behind us approach us and tell us we did nothing wrong. We will never be attending this course again, and will advise friends and family to do the same.
Sunny day of golf
It would have been better if all the courses were open. Stuck behind a foursome and the group behind was pushing me. The grass was not cut well.
