Oak Gables Golf Club - Pine Course

About
Oak Gables Golf Club is home to three different nine-hole courses called Pine, Oak, and Maple. Named after the trees that are scattered throughout the landscape, each nine offers a different challenging layout. The Maple Course is often referred to as “the pride of Oak Gables,” but the Pine Course, which is the longest of the three, can be just as tough. The rolling terrain provides a multitude of uneven lies and you can also expect a few tricky blind shots. The most difficult par 3 is the 193-yard sixth, which plays uphill into the prevailing wind, but the toughest hole on the golf course is the par-4 eighth. An uneven lie in the fairway makes the approach shot even more daunting. In addition to the golf course, Oak Gables also has a full-length, all grass driving range as well as chipping and putting greens.

Good for the money
Good course with mostly par 3s. Great for dialing in your irons. Greens were a little banged up and patchy. Overall had a good experience!
YES GOOD EXPERIENCE
WE HAVE A POSITIVE EXPERIENCE AT THE COURSE
CLEAN QUIET BY THE RIVER QUIET NICE
30 years since I played here.
Played in 3 hrs and 10 minutes. Short 4500 yd course. Slow greens, maybe a 7 on stimp. Still a fun day of golf.
Weird Course Marshal
Just finished off on the tee box on hole 1. The course marshal drove back up to us and started chirping us? We had taken a couple practice swings but didn’t muck up the tee box. It was bizarre. Really weird old man. Chedoke beddoe is nicer and cheaper for pm rounds.
Great value
Great beginner course. Wide open nice greens well kept. The money spent for a cart and 18 was well worth it.
