About
Situated just west of Lindsey, Oliver's Nest Golf & Country Club is an idyllic escape that sprawls across rolling hills with the Mariposa Brook ambling through. The golf course opened in 1996 and despite being relatively young, Graham Cooke, a well known Canadian architect who designed the course, managed to incorporate the mature elms, oaks, and cedar trees that were already present in the wooded surroundings. Half of the holes on this challenging golf course are doglegs. The greens are fast and undulating and the rolling fairways are varied in size. The winding brook comes into play on several holes and there is also an abundance of strategically placed bunkers throughout. Oliver's Nest Golf & Country Club's signature hole is the par-3 seventh, whose green is protected by a pond in the front and trees in the back.

Bad staff
Booked a tee time for 440 on Monday. I live in Ajax so this course took an hour drive to get to. Had a great time on the course, and played quite well. It was just me and my buddy playing as a group of two with a group of 4 (2 guys and their girlfriends) playing ahead of us. They told us we could tee off first as we would be a little bit quicker. Through 18 holes there was only one time we had to wait to tee off for the group in front. We finished 18 holes by 855pm and were treated terribly when we arrived at the club house. The assumed manager began talking down to us, telling us we were back to late. Then proceeded to tell us that several people on the course had complaints about us “flying around the course”. I was very displeased as me and my friend had a very calm round and didn’t see anyone on the course except for the people who were two holes behind us and people who were about 2 holes ahead of us. It was funny to us that before finishing we were telling each other the course was well marshalled and we didn’t have to wait for anyone while playing. And then to be falsely called out infront of people was completely unprofessional. Overall course was well maintained but the treatment we received after paying 50$ and driving over an hour was not worth it. I hope someone has a word with this worker and this doesn’t happen to someone else
I did not like having to rate the staff as only good, as all of them but one mature woman working in the food service area were excellent. She was rude and condescending. The rest of were extremely pleasant and very helpful.
There is a good mixture of water and sand hazzards
The Caddy Pro retrieved the ball from the hole very well.
Solid course, well kept
Well maintained course despite COVID. Showed up 7 mins late for our tee time and the marshall got us in within 30 mins and the pace was very comfortable. Drink cart only came around twice. Lots of doglegs and only 3 par 3’s but very enjoyable for the first round of the year and worth the hour+ drive from Toronto.

Course in good shape. Enjoyable course with lots of wide fairways. Greens have lots of undulation, but in good shape. Friendly staff. Good pace of play.
Very forgiving course
A bit slow but a good round. It would of been nice to know that the greens were aerated before paying for the round today.

Good day..rain held off..3 club winds..greens were great..some fairways a bit sparse in areas..however I have not played the course since the change of ownership..some good changes..I always liked playing the club before moving to British Columbia..will make an effort to return again on our next trip home again..!! Golf Now had a greatttt deal ..AS USUAL.. Thank You..

Like this layout
Played with 7 friends. We really like the layout. Fairways were in good shape, but greens were inconsistent - some were a bit shaggy, and a few tee blocks were burned out. I understand there was an issue with the watering system during the recent hot weather that led to the poorer conditions. The course was still very playable.
Nice track, slow greens
Not a memorable course, but priced right for a Sunday morning. Fairways were decent, but greens were definitely slow and “fuzzy”. Would play again at same price point.....
