Fanshawe Golf Course - Quarry

A great Municipal course with a good design and challenging holes. Pace of play is great and course is in great condition for a municipal course

Very good shape and can notice efforts to maintain course

Early in the year so the rough wasn't too punitive. Wet though but that's to be expected this time of year. Great value for the money.

For the time of year the course was in great shape. Looking forward to playing it in mid summer.

The quarry is my favourite public track in London.

Another great day at the quarry. Course was a little wet but in great shape.

The course was missing its yellow tees which was a major problem for my playing partner who no longer can hit a golf ball a long distance. The lack of these tees, which are included on the scorecard, was a major contributor to it not being an enjoyable round of golf.

Golfer who teed off behind us skipped forward and slowed the pace down quite a bit. No marshal so we couldn't do anything about it...

Course was in EXCELLENT CONDITION. Fairways were lush, rough was was cut to a decent length wiht a graduated cut style. Greens were fast but, due to recent rains they were also very receptive. Staff were very pleasant.

An enjoyable round of golf spoiled by the presence of grass cutters working while play on two holes. This included continuing to cut the fairway while we we teeing off as well as making our second shots. Very distracting experience. Also had cart path blocked by grass cutters that interferred with the ability to move around a water hazard to get to the green to continue to play.
