Great course but slow pace and not enough carts
There weren’t any carts available when we arrived so we had to walk. The course itself was in good shape and the layout was challenging but fair. Small but receptive greens and a long track when playing from the tips. The pace of play was slow which i find is typical with city courses. We found ourselves waiting on every shot but still enjoyable.
Nice Course
The course was in great shape and is just challenging enough to make it a fun course to play.
Had a wondert experience
It was my first time playing in Query. I used to playing in traditional so it was a bit difficult playing in Query but I enjoyed golfing with my wife and kids. Thanks a lot.
A tree branch should NEVER hang in front of a tee box. BUSH LEAGUE makes a cute course unfair -obviously this place is not wanting to be considered a serious test of golf.
Great Value!
Great value for this course. Growing up this course was always something I would avoid. It wasnt well designed and was never in great shape. They have recently done some course layout changes making this a more traditional play. The fairways were perfect and the rough was lush which i have never seen on this course. Lastly they use the natural up and down of the Quarry to make some picturesque tee shots.
Great course will be going back
Found a hot deal to play for $13 at 6 30 while we only played 15 holes it was a very nice and fun course to play. Interesting holes nice greens. overall it was a great round will be booking other tee times here forsure.
A windy day
The wind was at least 2 clubs at times. I had not played this course in 15 years. It was great to see how it has matured over the years. The pace of play was at our leisure as it was not packed. The scores weren't great, but if was a beautiful day to end summer with heat well above normal. All in all we had a good day of golf.
Love the City Courses
The course was in great shape and fun to play. The pro staff at Fanshawe are excellent, they are friendly, knowledgeable and professional. The staff at the other city courses are also very good. Can't wait to come back.
Decent round of golf
It had been a warm week and the course was a little dry, great for distance off the tee but tough for approach shots and putting. Played here multiple times and I enjoy it every round.

Must Try
Played the Quarry course. Very challenging with lots of variety in the layout. Greens a good size and in excellent shape. Fairways in great shape. No conveniences at half way point.
